One World 1 Love releases new single 'What the World Needs Now Is Love'

The purveyors of love and music known as One World 1 Love have released their new single, “What the World Needs Now Is Love” (feat. Guylaine Vivarat). The track has been published with a B-side, “Put a Little Love in Your Heart” (feat. Guylaine Vivarat, Juanita Brundidge and Kailah). Both feature the skills of producer and musician Leon Haywood and were recorded at Haywood's Sunnyside Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California. A return to the titanic goodness of the classic era of soul, “What the World Needs Now Is Love” is a single fans of peace, compassion and music everywhere will appreciate.

One World 1 Love's “What the World Needs Now Is Love” is the newest rendition of the favorite penned by Burt Bacharach and Hal David in 1965. There's much more to this fresh take on the old pop single, however.

“One World 1 Love delivers an authentic, polished soul sound of their own,” writes the Rugley Records label on their behalf. “They worked with some of the greatest entertainers and producers in the world. One World grew up swooning along with their radios, cultivated their silky-smooth vocals in their hometowns.”

It wasn't until much later that One World 1 Love would combine their talents for this 2016 release. Rugley Records notes that the group came together in the music studio, just as the band wants to bring everyone, all of us, together. “What the World Needs Now Is Love” is as much a mission statement for One World 1 Love as it is their most prominent release to date.

“We can all come together with music,” writes Rugley Records. “One World 1 Love came together and recorded two songs in three major languages, English, French and Spanish. One World 1 Love has plans to record their own 'We Are the World' type of album.”

They plan also to reach out to recording artists Guylaine, Adele, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger, Rihanna, Rashida Jones, Lolo Jones, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Juanita Brundidge, and rapper Mick.

“One World 1 Love is dedicated to music, peace, love and raising funds for the relief of victims here and all over the world, now and forever.”

“What the World Needs Now Is Love” by One World 1 Love is available at over 700 digital music stores online worldwide now.

The music producer and artist known as Enntice has released his debut single, “Get a Little Crazy.” The dance pop track has been proudly published on the Escape Records independent music label without creative interference from the corporate music industry. Booming with bass, rattling with rhythm and boasting masterful Stevie Wonder-esque vocals, “Get a Little Crazy” is a dance single fans of great music are sure to get behind.

Enntice cites as chief artistic influences some of the most important musicians of the latter 20th century, including Michael Jackson, Prince, Jamiroquai, Sting, UB40, Seal, Nile Rogers, Stevie Wonder, Ceelo Green, Rihanna, Coldplay, Chris Brown, Bob Marley, David Bowie, and Black Uhuru. As any music fan can tell from this distinguished roster, Enntice has varied tastes – good tastes.

This is not unlike the sound and style of “Get a Little Crazy.” The track has smatterings of attributes from nearly all the names cited above. It's classy, upbeat, dance-inspiring, and has a healthy tinge of madness in its beat.

Enntice describes his sound as a “culmination of lots of genres and styles,” saying, “I like strong funky bass lines and solid heavy drums stemming from my reggae background. But I also love the funky bass lines from Chic, Level42, Sting (the Police). Then mix that with the current dance/R&B pop music like Calvin Harris, Naughty Boy, David Guetta, etc.”

From Birmingham, England by way of his parents' homeland of Jamaica, Enntice bills himself first as a bass player, second as a producer. This shows in the top-notch quality of his bass lines in “Get a Little Crazy.”

“This is my debut single,” writes Enntice, “which is all about dancing, getting crazy on the dance floor and enjoying yourself. Letting your hair down perhaps in Ibiza or wherever you're listening to some great dance music.”

A man of the world, Enntice has spent time in Jamaica, Philadelphia, Ibiza and the UK. His music is a reflection of those experiences.

“My aim is not to reinvent the wheel,” says Enntice, “but to put a different spin on it (forgive the pun). Music is my passion and nothing else can replace it.”

The music producer from Atlantic City, NJ known as Clazzik BizMoff has released his latest official single, “Melodic Clouds.” The track has been proudly published on the New Way Music Group independent record label entirely without the direction or support of the corporate music industry. Dreamy and evocative, colorful and inventive, “Melodic Clouds” is evidence that Clazzik BizMoff is a name to watch out for in 2016.

Dilla, and a Tribe Called Quest. BizMoff's own “Melodic Clouds” clearly derives its emphasis on solid back beats from his excellent taste in hip hop, but the track itself is instrumental. Fans of trip hop will be enthusiastic at its ambient overtones and spacey, floaty groove.

“Melodic Clouds” from Clazzik BizMoff is a track the listener can mellow to in virtually any circumstance. It's uplifting, positive, groovy, and doesn't bother the listener with unnecessary frills. It's an exercise in feel-good. This shouldn't come as a surprise for fans of the artist, though, as it's one of his chief aims in making music.

“I think that it shares authenticity and a unique vibe for creativity,” writes the artist of his new single. “I'm also hoping that it'll help listeners who're having a hard day, get through.”

Folk musician Dylan Champagne releases new single and video 'Pterodactyl Wings'

The folk and rock artist from Moscow, ID known as Dylan Champagne has released his latest official single, “Pterodactyl Wings.” The single is the most prominent release from Champagne since the “Bones in Your Pocket” video from his rock band, the Lost Explorers, appeared exactly on this date one year ago. Like “Bones...” and other material from Dylan Champagne, “Pterodactyl Wings” has been published independent of the corporate music industry. An official video for “Pterodactyl Wings” has also been released and is free to view (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MEgrcPhFzE).

A genuine return to the American folk tradition while remaining true to his underlying rock roots, “Pterodactyl Wings” is the latest example of Dylan Champagne's arresting imagination, inimitable vocal tones and undeniable knack for crafting songs as individual works of art.

Music by Dylan Champagne (and his ever-morphing crew of ingenious collaborators) is music for the true audiophile. From his 2011 “Love Songs of the Apocalypse, Vol. 1” LP to his 2013 “The Bones” EP with the Lost Explorers to this fresh “Pterodactyl Wings” video and folk single, his sound transports, narrates, evokes, is gorgeous, is human, and is alive. Even when at his most aggressive – half of “The Bones” borders on outright punk rock – the overarching feel and mode of Champagne's art is palpably compassionate and surprisingly touching.

This humanistic trait is perhaps nowhere felt as strongly in Champagne's repertoire as in “Pterodactyl Wings,” and especially in the video. This makes the folk single an important marker in the career of Dylan Champagne, one which fans and newcomers alike would be astute to note and appreciate.

Dylan Champagne's musical vision takes him to far-flung and exotic places in the art world.

“For the last several months I’ve been diligently composing the score for a screening of the 1925 silent film, 'Phantom of the Opera,'” writes Champagne on his official website. “The score will be played by a live, eight-piece chamber orchestra. The screening will take place at the Kenworthy Theater in downtown Moscow, ID on April 28, 2016. It’s been such an amazing experience writing the music for this thing. All in all it’s about 90 minutes of music.”

Denizens of the American Northwest with a penchant for one-of-a-kind music experiences would be unfortunate to miss this exceptionally rare opportunity.

But everyone in the world gets to enjoy “Pterodactyl Wings” from Dylan Champagne now, and everyone who loves great music should do so.

Dylan Champagne's “Pterodactyl Wings” is available directly from the artist's website and from iTunes and 700 online music stores worldwide. Get in early, folk fans. Very early.

Rapper Bar Lingo releases new single 'Radio'

The Michigan rapper known across the nation as Bar Lingo has released his latest official single, “Radio.” The track has been proudly published on the BreadFyrst Entertainment independent record label without the direction of the corporate music industry. Pumped with bass, old-school power and some of the best lyrics ever to be carved from language, “Radio” by Bar Lingo is easily one of the heaviest-hitting hip hop tracks to emerge in 2016 so far.

Bar Lingo cites as main artistic influences a timeless list of legends. These include Tupac Shakur, Eminem, Scarface, Rakim, Big L, Marvin Gaye, Kool n the Gang, Gap Band, Zapp and Roger, James Brown, and New Edition. His own music has been compared to Mystikal, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, each of whom would fit perfectly on a mixtape featuring Bar Lingo.

A current official bio from Breadfyrst Ent. describes Bar Lingo's writing clout, saying, “In a day and age where hip hop has been watered down and abased to piss-poor lyrics and mediocre hooks, Bar Lingo is a rarity and a breath of fresh air.”

Hip hop fans who agree that the scene has been hurt by a persistent influx of pop elements and pandering to the lowest common denominator are likely to hear much of what they've been missing in “Radio” by Bar Lingo. With an emphasis on carefully crafted lines and meaningful themes set to rock-solid back beats and creative instrumentation, Bar Lingo's rap tracks are a reminder of what great hip hop can be.

Bar Lingo was born Botney Collins in Muskegon, Michigan, an area he calls “as unpretentious and blue collar as it gets.”

“I was born with music embedded in my DNA,” writes Bar Lingo. “I can’t recall a time when music wasn’t a part of my life. I used to drum on everything around the house. My love of music is incomprehensible; it runs deep through my veins. I’ve wanted to be a musician for as long as I can remember.”

While the heady language in Lingo's music recalls some of the best hip hop ever recorded, the artist himself notes that some people are less enthusiastic about his writing style. He has said that “Guys get intimidated by how rough my bars be without cursing or using explicit content.”

Nevertheless, his fan base grows daily, spurred on by the sheer quality of his tracks as well as by the force of his frequent live performances.

In the end, music by Bar Lingo deserves a listen regardless of what kind of rapper the music fan may usually be listening to, and “Radio” is as good a place to start as any.

The single, “Radio,” by Bar Lingo is available from Breadfyrst Ent. At over 700 online stores worldwide beginning 20 April 2016. Get in early hip hop fans. Very early.

Musician Eliel Arrey releases 'The Essentials' LP

The composer and songwriter known internationally as Eliel Arrey has released his latest full-length record, “The Essentials.” The album contains no fewer than 20 tracks for an approximate total listening time of 80 minutes, making for a comprehensive collection of material from Arrey's repertoire. It has been proudly published on the EA Music Group independent label. In addition to Eliel Arrey himself, the album features remarkable performances by Nasomi, Yolanda Arrey, and Steve Owner with an extended instrumental of Eliel Arrey's 'Paradise' remix of Melissa Otero's 'Angels and Demons.'" Broadly varied, emotionally evocative, and showcasing the artist's most innovative work to date, “The Essentials” from Eliel Arrey is indispensable for fans of pop music and epic anthems alike.

Eliel Arrey cites as main artistic influences two families of musicians: for his anthems and classical tracks, Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Thomas Bergersen, John Powell, Audiomachine, and Two Steps from Hell; for his EDM productions, David Guetta, Avicii, Jake Shanahan, and Hardwell.

These two musical identities dovetail smoothly on “The Essentials,” just as they intertwine in Arrey's work in general. His electronica and pop music offerings tend to have aspects of classical narrative and sweeping, soaring waves of sound. Likewise, his classical compositions and soundtracks are marked with motivating narratives and memorable, catchy melodies as are found in his pop and EDM.

Speaking of his new “Essentials” record, Arrey writes, “Music has always been influenced by cultures. Every society/culture has a unique style to their music and different instruments sometimes trademark some cultures. Our album, 'The Essentials,' is meant to draw in music lovers from all backgrounds, cultures, and styles. Our listeners will notice many instruments not conventionally used in typical, everyday music.”

This is seen in his use of bagpipes to play the African Cameroonian National Anthem, in kalimbas which lay the down his verses in “Far Cry,” and his exploration of the violins and woodwinds of the Celtic hills. Each of these are showcased through the impeccable audio vision of sound director and senior sound engineer Kevin Monahan of Love Audio Mastering.

“'The Essentials' is going to take every listener on an international journey,” says Eliel Arrey. “We hope that all our listeners can feel and appreciate the diversity we sought when we compiled this album. Our vocalists are nothing short of world-class, featuring the powerful Dutch artist, Nasomi and Salt Lake City's finest, Yolanda. 'The Essentials' also boasts internationally acclaimed songwriter and engineer Steve Owner, as well as the extended instrumental rendition of Melissa Otero's 'Angels and Demons.'”

Songs on “The Essentials” come from many music genres, including new-age, modern classical, electro house, dance, hip-hop, R&B, orchestral, and world music. There's also a song in honor of the late film-score legend, James Horner.

“We had a hard time picking what genre to list the overall album under,” Arrey says. “We love the diversity of the tracks in the project as it symbolizes the diverse influences we have had in our lives and the different cultures that have influenced us. Our goal is that everyone can find something that they can relate to when they play this album.”

With nearly every emotional hue coloring this striking example of unbridled innovation and musical alchemy, it's improbable that the music fan won't hear himself in it somewhere.

“So much love and hard work has gone into this project. It is our deepest honor to share this album with you and the rest of the world.”

“The Essentials” by Eliel Arrey from EA Music Group becomes available online worldwide 20 April 2016.

Europe's most prolific EDM artist DJ Pad releases new album 'Dubstep: Second Strike'

The French composer of electronic dance music known as DJ Pad has released his latest official LP album, “Dubstep: Second Strike.” The album contains 15 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of one hour. Like Pad's other records, it has been proudly published as an independent release by the 4000 Records underground label. Kaleidoscopic, pounding with bass, and full of tricks and surprises, “Dubstep: Second Strike” is perhaps the most innovative material to come from DJ Pad yet.

DJ Pad is perhaps best known around the world for arguably being Europe's most prolific EDM artist, if not her most prolific musician altogether. Having been composing electronic music since 2008, Pad has amassed a titanic repertoire of more than 700 original tracks in over 30 music genres, mostly electro- house, trance and dubstep. He averages about 100 songs each year, most of them over four minutes long.

If a DJ Pad fan were to listen to all of Pad's music end-to-end without taking any breaks, DJ Pad songs would still be pouring from the speakers on the dawn of the third day. Amazon Digital Music alone hosts more than 200 of these original songs available for sample, sale and download.

Yet Pad somehow still finds new ways to branch out and discover melodies. “Dubstep: Second Strike” is a highly polished sequel to his 2014 record, “Dubstep: First Strike,” and an avid music listener can hear the subtle complexities which have arisen in Pad's style over the last two years. Another change is that “Second Strike” is only an hour long. Some Pad albums are as long as three.

Speaking of his new LP, Pad writes, “In this quite 'short' album, I've wanted to give to all my fans my vision of dubstep with generally complex drops and intro/breaks coming from other genres.”

Tracks which are sure to stand out include the opening song, “Arpy,” the eclectic “Spacy and Curvy,” and the mellow “Beach Basket.” A reggae-flavored track, “Not so Long Title” is also prominent. Pad's closer, “Glossy Elephant,” is a welcome throwback to the golden age of electronica with a heavy coat of dubstep on it.

As DJ Pad fans have come to expect, this is yet another remarkable success from the artist, one which no Pad collection is complete without. This is likely to be perceived as the best from DJ Pad so far.

“Dubstep: Second Strike” by DJ Pad is available from 4000 Records online worldwide now.

Singer Nasomi featured on 'The Essentials' from EA Music

The Cameroonian-born singer known as Nasomi is a prominently featured artist on the new LP record from EA Music Group and mastermind musician Eliel Arrey. EA Music Group is the music branch of blockbuster video-game giant EA Games. The new long-playing album featuring Nasomi, “The Essentials,” is already available for pre-order online [link provided below].

While Eliel Arrey's “The Essentials” has been garnering no end of attention from music lovers and game aficionados alike, Arrey himself stresses that Nasomi's performances are among the album's best qualities.

“Nasomi is definitely an artist I'd like to emphasize on my album,” writes Arrey, who is renowned for writing evocative, highly narrative compositions. “She is the lead singer on 'Rise,' 'Brand New Day/Dance with Me,' and 'Sunset Love 2.0.' Nasomi has one of the most powerful voices of any artist I know. She has the ability to listen to any melody I write and complement it with the perfect vocals. She is masterful at conveying emotions through music. Her lyrics have touched many souls and have inspired many people, including me.”

The Holland-based Nasomi cites as main artistic influences Toni Braxton and Aaliyah, two singers well loved for strong natural tones and a surgically precise pitch, both of which are marks of Nasomi's own style.

“Nasomi is an artist who takes her music very seriously and is one of the most hardworking people I know,” says Eliel Arrey. “She sets goals and executes on them. She puts a lot of effort and dedication in all her work. She has never been it for money or fame, she just loves to sing and loves music!”

Nasomi's first taste of fame came in 2012 when one of her underground singles, an original called “Whatever It Takes,” went viral on SoundCloud. Arrey heard the track and got in touch to suggest a collaboration. Today, he is proud to announce the three songs included on “The Essentials,” as well as several other tracks the duo will release later this year.

Since 2011 The “Whatever It Takes” singer-songwriter has performed at various events in the Netherlands and Germany, as well as at the 2012 Esamba Esamba festival in Belgium.

Rapper Shiest City releases debut single 'So Loud'

The Brooklyn rapper known as Shiest City has released his official debut single, “So Loud.” The track has been proudly published on the Boyzrecord independent music label without the direction of the corporate music industry. Stylish, thumping and full of rhythm and groove, “So Loud” is a track which is already winning Shiest City fans from coast to coast.

Shiest City cites as main artistic influences Jay Z, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Vybz Kartel, Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G. While he shares many qualities of these, his own sound is definitely unique, blending the island undertones of dancehall music with the old-school East Coast sound from which both hip hop and Shiest himself originally sprouted.

The rap artist has also been described as a lyricist who carefully sculpts his lines and rhymes into phrases which both achieve the sound he's looking for and carry the precise meaning he's aiming to communicate. His songs are more urban poetry than pop hip hop. They're often narrative. “So Loud” is an example of both his skill at turning phrases and his talent for storytelling.

“The concept for 'So Loud' is based around a good girl gone bad,” writes Shiest City. “Many girls have a fantasy of a thug who can satisfy her through words and physically at the same time. When a woman finds herself in her ideal sexual fantasy, she tends to let herself go and not care if someone in the next room or the neighbors down the block hear her screams; she is just trapped in the moment. This isn't a love story, just a casual encounter between two adults.”

An active live performer, Shiest City can frequently be found engaging in public freestyle battles at venues such as in Flatbush, Webster Hall, and on “The Star and Buc Wild Show” from New York City's WWPR 105.1 FM.

Much of Shiest City's musical, professional and personal character can be gleaned from hearing him speak about what he terms the “New York Mentality,” which he likens to a “Darwinian intellectual growth and artistry that only an East Coast rapper can understand.”

“We improve because we are forced to,” Shiest City has said of this. “It is with this mentality that New York has become great, and it is with this mentality that it will continue to be great. This mentality pervades every man, woman, and child in this city … Growing up in Flatbush gave me a musical education more than any school could.”

In addition to the considerable talents of Gino White, “Let Me In” sports beats and sound engineering by Kendrick Patton, AKA Ken P @Trunkbangaz Ent (BMI).

Desifx releases new single 'Heer'

The producer, singer and songwriter known as Desifx has released his new single, “Heer.” The single track has been proudly published on the Jatt Records independent music label entirely without the direction or support of the corporate music industry. It is currently the most prominent official release from Desifx and has been distributed to over 700 digital music stores globally. Upbeat, colorful and highly energetic, “Heer” stands as evidence that the Far East sound is alive and well all over the world in 2016.

Desifx, whose official Facebook page currently places him in London, UK, cites as main artistic influences several timeless favorites of the scene. These include grandfather of modern Punjabi music Surinder Shinda, the controversial and ill-fated Amar Singh Chamkila, and contemporary English star Panjabi MC. All of these have elements which have found their way into Desifx's own sound, yet his “Heer” remains a unique work all the same.

Asked to describe his new song, Desifx writes that “Heer” uses “Punjabi bhangra urban sounds based on 'Heer,' a Punjabi folk story with a kick of western influence.”

“Heer” is far from Desifx's first official release, however. He has scores of releases available online in many different music genres. His talents run the gamut of musical categories. This is to be expected of him, as he has been involved in London's own urban desi music scene since the age of 16. Not only that, but he is also the same Desifx who owned and operated London's No. One FM desi radio station of its time, DESI fm. He has described his childhood by saying he was “born and raised in west London in the heart of the UK urban desi music vibe, London's hub of bhangra.”

In addition to performances in England, Desifx has performed live at the MAMI, in India, in Canada, and in Holland.

Country duo Tim and Jake release 'The Law' single

The country musicians known as Tim and Jake have released their new official single, “The Law.” The track is the first glimpse of their forthcoming EP. Both are being proudly published on the Satchell Creek Records independent music label outside the control of the corporate music industry. Rocking, heavy-hitting, all-country and exceptionally American, “The Law” from Tim and Jake proves that their soon-to-be-released album is one country fans everywhere should be waiting for.

Tim and Jake cite as main musical influences legends both classic and modern, in their own order: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Big & Rich, and Cowboy Troy. Their own sound is aggressive without being obnoxious, packed with energy while remaining danceable, and genuinely true to the original spirit of country music. More comfortable wearing ball caps than Stetsons on the cover art of their new “The Law” single, Tim and Jake are at once a modern country group for a new generation and one which fans of Waylon & Willie records will appreciate in spades.

“The Law” has strong rock elements which will appeal to a broad audience, even those outside the country genre. These attributes may come from the artists' backgrounds growing up in small northern towns rather than in the South or Midwest. Tim hails from Chemung in upstate New York, Jake from across state line in Sayre, Pennsylvania. Both towns are known for their country underpinnings, having given rise to several NASCAR titans and other American icons – including Wells Spicer, the judge who presided over Wyatt, Virgil and Morgan Earp and Doc Holliday following the Gunfight at the OK Corral.

A second single following close on the heels of the first, “We Could Be,” has also been made available [link provided below]. “We Could Be” is already being lauded as a possible pick at the 2016 Country Music Awards.
Tim and Jake are Tim Wood (23) and Jake Parshall (22). Each have been playing music for more than 10 years. They began collaborating in 2012. When they're not playing their dynamic, foot-stomping brand of country, Tim and Jake spend their time hunting, fishing, trapping, writing music and enjoying bonfires.

“The Law” from Tim and Jake is available at over 700 digital music stores online worldwide. Get in early, country fans. Very early.

The Infinite MC releases album 'The Infinite Music Creator'

The Egyptian-born rap star known as the Infinite MC has released his most prominent album to date, “The Infinite Music Creator.” It has been proudly published on the Infinite Records independent music label without the financial support of the corporate music industry. “The Infinite Music Creator” contains eight original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 26 minutes. Varied, complex, and powerfully imagined, “The Infinite Music Creator” stands as proof that provocative hip hop has roots in every nation of the world.

Asked to cite some main artistic influences, the Infinite MC writes only, “Koron Al Karim.”

The sound of his album changes from song to song, with some being upbeat and others more pensive. All of them reflect the artist's kaleidoscopic creativity. The consistent thread which runs boldly through each is one of thematic meaning. Every track on “The Infinite Music Creator” has a clear message, one the songwriter has crafted with a specific aim in his mind's eye.

Interviewing the Infinite MC about his songs reveals much. Track 1 is called, “Never Hurt Me Soul.”

“No matter what, you can't hurt my soul,” writes the Infinite MC about his song. “It's a description of the Egyptian Revolution. I started writing the song on the one year anniversary of January 25th, 2011.”

Revolution makes up a large part of the record. The Infinite MC explains that his song, “One Man Revolution,” describes “One man confessing what women have gone through throughout all of history, standing up to unite them in a movement using piety to change all governments around the world. The Women's March on Versailles. Declaration of the Rights of Woman and the Female Citizen.”

Love and romance are also central themes of “The Infinite Music Creator.”

The Infinite MC was born in Smoha, in Alexandria, Egypt.

“I was named Karim after the word of God Koron Al Karim Chapter 50 Karim,” he writes.

His upbringing and connection to the ancient world at the shore of the Mediterranean Sea remain integral to the rapper's music and values.

“My life is dedicated to the study of the word of God and spreading it to the world,” he writes. “I study all the Holy Books and accept all religions. My belief is that each one stems from a specific Holy Book. I am currently on my way to Makkah to receive the word of God.”

The Infinite MC's previous music releases include: MC Rap the One Flow Army, 22 January 2011 (recorded and released right before the Egyptian Revolution began), and his eight-video freestyle album on his personal Facebook page.
