Telli Stonemen releases new single 'Go Hard' feat. Gillie Da Kid

The songwriter and producer of pop and hip hop known as Telli Stonemen has released her latest official single, “Go Hard,” featuring Gillie Da Kid. The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Real Hulk Entertainment record label, home to such East Coast artists as Cheazy Mack and Religion Da God. Melodic, energetic and full of groove, “Go Hard” showcases Telli Stonemen as a singer with a hip-hop heart and pop in her soul who can deliver on several levels at once.

Philadelphia's Telli Stonemen cites as main artistic influences Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston, Chris Brown, Tupac Shakur, and Bone Thugs N Harmony. She also makes a point of noting her Aunt Vida, mom, dad, and brothers as inspirations, as well. Telli Stonemen's own sound on “Go Hard” has a little reggae in its lyric rhythms, a little Latin verve in its sensual tempo, and a lot of hip-hop style in its overall swagger.

Part of the credit for this must go to Stonemen's featured artist on “Go Hard,” Gillie Da Kid. As “Go Hard” by Telli Stonemen is a duet – something very uncommon in hip hop – Gillie's work beside Telli's shines extra bright.

Commenting on the overall meaning of “Go Hard,” Telli Stonemen says, “This song represents my ambition and the beginning of me pushing forward and never backwards on purpose.”

Asked to describe her start in music, Stonemen writes, “I started really pursuing music in my sophomore year in high school, when I started singing for the school choir. I went from singing and cleaning up, doing dishes in the kitchen, to being exposed to a big crowd in the John Bartram High School auditorium.”

Since signing with Real Hulk Ent., Telli Stonemen has been touring, opened for popular artists such as Pastor Troy and Gillie Da Kid, and working with Grammy Award winning producer James Worthy out of Atlanta.

Mae Scott releases new single 'I Love U'

The songwriter and producer of pop, hip hop and RnB known as Mae Scott has released her latest official single, “I Love U.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Mae Scott record label. Sultry, classy, and humming with groove, “I Love U” is the newest reason for fans to applaud this rising entertainer from the American south.

In the past, Pittsburgh, PA's Mae Scott has cited as influences Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Aaliyah, and R Kelly. Asking her today brings a different response, however.

Honestly, I grew up in that MTV era where music videos were everything,” she writes, “but I also grew up on indie music videos, as well, by lesser known channels. Anything that was hot probably influenced me at some point while I was discovering myself. I'm focused now.”

That focus comes from living in a larger world than many people live in. A veteran of the US Army, Mae Scott served a tour in the war in Iraq before attending college where she started her first indie label, Academy Rhyme Time. She performed as a cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons while she continued honing her music career. To date, she has already been nominated for a Grammy Award twice.

My message tells people to find what their culture is,” says Mae Scott, “or what they want it to be personally, then go create that.”

This artistic integrity runs throughout her style.

Like, you can have your own cake, make it, and eat it too, with the extra frosting and everything,” she writes. “Happy birthday. I enjoy making music uncensored and organically while in my own own space, free and naked. It's time to express whatever I want, and you better remember that!”

Mae Scott's “I Love U” is the most prominent release from the artist since her June 2018 single, “I Can Transform.” That track, too, had similar themes.

[It's] to not judge yourself and just run wild with your creation without self-imposed limits,” she wrote at the time. “So what if you're nasty? We all are, some of us in front and some of us behind closed doors.”

Direct, in-your-face and founded on rhymes and lines on rock-solid back beats, “Don't Run” showcases Mr. Will as one of the most intriguing hip hop artists of the year so far and promises that we can expect plenty more in the years to come.

Trenton, NJ's Mr. Will cites as main artistic influences Jay-Z, Nelly, DMX, Ludacris, and 50 Cent. With an emphasis on gritty urban poetry and top-notch studio production, “Don't Run” by Mr. Will has a little something for every avid hip hop listener.

Commenting on the overall meaning of “Don't Run,” Mr. Will says, “'Don't Run' is the warning shot. The game (rap) has been way too nice. It's time to get back to this real sh-t.”

Mr. Will enjoys the individual parts of a track as much as he enjoys the song as a whole. When he makes music, he pays particular attention to choosing his words and phrases.

I appreciate the sounds, whether it's instruments or vocal tones,” he writes. “I love to hear each sound playing it's part in the overall track. Most importantly, as a writer first, artist second, the lyrics are my main focal point when listening. I want to feel the words and not just hear them.”

Will has performed live in New Jersey, New York, Miami, and Philadelphia, and his music continues to spread overseas.

I'm getting spins in Germany as well as Spain,” says Mr. Will. “Looking to do a show over there sooner rather than later.”

Asked to describe his start in music, Mr. Will writes, “I wrote my first song attempting to impress my older brother. As a kid I'd sit in his attic room for hours, learning about and listening to all genres of music, hoping one day, it would be my album he'd be mixing on his CD turntables.”

And all along, Mr. Will has been sharpening his craft.

He writes, “I make music as a form of expression. I've been rhyming since I could read. Who knew the children's books my mom would read me before bed would ignite something inside of me?”

Asked for a comment to his fans around the world, Mr. Will says, simply, “What you see is what you get, what you hear is who I am.”
