NoFaceNors releases new full-length album 'Nacho Pack Vol. 1'

The songwriter and producer of beats known as NoFaceNors has released his latest official full-length album, “Nacho Pack Vol. 1.” The full-length album contains 10 original NoFaceNors tracks for an approximate total listening time of 20 minutes. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the NoFaceNors record label. Bearing elements of the old school while remaining an innovative clutch of beats any singer or rapper would love to have behind them, “Nacho Pack Vol. 1” showcases NoFaceNors as one of the most dependable and enjoyable beat doctors of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Fairfield, Calif.'s NoFace cites as main artistic influences Tokimonsta, Flying Lotus, and Kenny Beats. His own sound takes attributes from each of these and adds his own colorful intuition for a blend that any DJ would be proud to have in their repertoire.

Also influencing NoFaceNors are Quiet Ninja, Triimurti And Beatman Z. These chemists of the cut are each a part of one of the North Bay's premier beat collectives, the Beatvengers.

“They all have their own style, so it stretches me to find my own style,” NoFace says of his crew.

With an emphasis on clever changes, a broad variety, and razor sharp attention to the mix, “Nacho Pack Vol. 1” by NoFaceNors has a little something for every fan of the sound.

Asked to describe his creative method for making “Nacho Pack Vol. 1,” NoFaceNors writes, “The intended meaning is up to the listener; I kinda just zone out when I'm making music.”

NoFaceNors began as many of the greatest beat doctors began: as an amateur working on borrowed equipment.

“I started making beats in my friends dirty a-- garage,” he writes. “It's more of a hobby for me, so I do it when I feel like it, and right now I'm just trying to get into the motion of putting out project after project.”

“Nacho Pack Vol. 1” is the second official release from NoFaceNors, his first being a debut full-length, “WakE,” which dropped in November 2018.

“I'm working on my third right now,” writes Nors. “I'm really just making music for fun. I've got time off work now, so I've been putting more time into it.”

BigMoneyHatcha releases new album '1801'

The songwriter and producer of rap and hip hop known as BigMoneyHatcha has released his latest official album, “1801.” The album contains 12 original BigMoneyHatcha tracks for an approximate total listening time of half an hour. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the AMGGlobal label. Part party, part gangsta, part straight-up hip hop, “1801” showcases BigMoneyHatcha as one of the most intriguing rappers of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

The American Southwest's BigMoneyHatcha cites as main artistic influences three key hip hop legends.

“I would say the entire SWISHAHOUSE movement influenced me,” he writes. “Old Gucci Mane literally has the best street music I've ever heard. Future had a huge influence on my harmonizing – he made it dope to sing, Lil Uzi Vert also is the best rapper out right now.”

BigMoneyHatcha's own sound takes elements from each of these – perhaps most obviously his use of actual singing in his songs – and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before. Asked to describe the overall meaning of “1801,” BigMoneyHatcha writes, “1801 (my album) is just a great blend of Southwest trap and real heartfelt music. I have my own sound and I guarantee this project will have you wanting to hear from me.”

“1801” gives the listener the clear impression that Hatcha has been eyes-deep in the scene for much of his life. It's not surprising to discover this is so.

“My older brother was involved in music and I would sit in his studio sessions, the energy around him and his friends was great – it was something I had never felt before! I knew every word to all the songs they made. I was around 11 or 12 so besides sports I knew music was something that would always be there for me. Fast forward to my college football days I noticed myself writing more and more music and then I started skipping practice to go to the studio we had on campus. I eventually ended up tearing my ACL and I had to stop playing football, so I just started writing 3 to 4 songs a day just to keep my mind off of it. And in 2018 I decided I needed a 'big boy' job and I started doing mortgages and I really hated sitting in a desk all day I was literally going crazy and getting fat. One day I got an email after lunch saying come to the training room for a meeting which was normal and they let about 50 of us go. I had a real moment and I asked myself what did I want to do, and the answer was music.”

BigMoneyHatcha was born in Texas and raised in the Southwest. His style has been described as “a unique sound that bangs no matter where you are. Influenced by his birthplace, BigMoneyHatcha puts his own spin on chopped-and-screwed by mixing the original sound with synth and high-pitched beats.”

Fresh by 6 releases new single 'Vocative'

The songwriter and producer of house and electronica music known as Fresh by 6 has released his latest official single, “Vocative.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Black Santa Records music label. Boasting a '90s groove deeply rooted in the original house music tradition and some entrancing, even somewhat hypnotizing vocal work, “Vocative” is one of the more remarkable electronic dance releases of summer 2019 any way you hash it.

Asked to describe the overall meaning of “Vocative,” Fresh by 6 writes, “This is an oldskool bouncy rolling house tune designed to be a dance floor pleaser. It features a confusing random vocal. It really doesn't mean anything but that didn't stop people from singing along to it when I played it at the Back of Beyond festival :).”

Donna Cristy releases new single 'Lies Wit My Shake'

The songwriter and producer of pop and dance music known as Donna Cristy has released her latest official single, “Lies Wit My Shake.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the 3 Shots Productions record label. An upbeat, direct, and characteristically proud pop single from Donna Cristy, “Lies Wit My Shake” is the latest reason for fans of dance and pop to take notice of this charismatic performer from Southern California.

When asked about her favorite musical influences, Los Angeles' Donna Cristy speaks clearly.

“My favorite singers are Gladys Knight and Linda Ronstadt,” she says. “Modern day artists I like are Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Camila Cabello and Jessie J. My favorite songwriter is Elton John.”

Later, she would go on to earn a university degree in music. Asked to describe the overall meaning of “Lies Wit My Shake,” Donna Cristy writes that it is “a playful way of looking at the pick-up lines guys use in a club.”

“Men think they are clever and can play us,” writes Donna Cristy of her new track. “This song blows the lid off! It's a play on words when a woman walks past a construction site: 'Hey, baby, can I get some fries with that shake?' I don't know why I thought of it. It just popped into my head one night and I said 'The next song I write is going to be called “Lies Wit My Shake”' and that's how it came to be.”
