While the album is comprised of only ten original songs, it has a surprising and impressive total listening time of more than one whole hour.

“Battle 4 Ur Soul” was originally released as a record by the band known as G-4S, which music project has recently been unveiled to be the work of Garth Darrach. A widely varied and inventive album with something for fans of all types of music, “Battle 4 Ur Soul” is highly deserving of attention from audiophiles everywhere.

Part of the reason for the latter adjectives is Garth Darrach's musical inspiration. Asked to describe some of his favorite music artists, Darrach names exactly one: Pink Floyd.

Upon being asked about the themes of “Battle 4 Ur Soul,” Darrach is somewhat more voluble. He explains that his album, which is instrumental, revolves around the topics of the, “awakening of the human spirit, the elevation of consciousness, and the dissolution of ego.”

“From insanity to inspirational, Garth has suffered through insanity, crime, addiction, and suicide, only to emerge from the dark side as an electronic-music producer and mixologist – to hell and back.”
