released a new single for Q1 2015, “Time Is a Razor Blade.” The
track has been proudly published on the Boomnote Music independent
record label. A ghostly, groovy track which blends acoustic
instrumentation and impeccable female vocals with minimalist synth
tones and futuristic style, Sublet's “Time Is a Razor Blade” is a
track any true music fan will appreciate.
Sublet cites as main artistic
influences a variety of music legends ranging from Freddy Mercury,
the Smiths and Hank Williams, to Beck, J-Dilla and Sly and the Family
Stone. Still, others of Sublet's musical inspirations seem to have
left their mark on “Time Is a Razor Blade” somewhat more heavily.
Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Thom Yorke, and the Pixies all share
sonic elements with the chill and shadowy track, with smatterings of
Miles Davis and John Coltrane peeking out of the undertones for
good measure.

emphasize “the importance of each moment.”
