Gravity releases official debut album 'Best Revenge Is Success'

The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Gravity has released his official debut album, “Best Revenge Is Success.” The album contains eight original Gravity tracks for an approximate total listening time of half an hour. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the VividVision/2TFMMENT (2 The Fullest Music Movement Ent) record label. Gritty, genuine, and lyrically aggressive, “Best Revenge Is Success” showcases Gravity as one of the most intriguing rappers from the dirty south this year so far, and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Asked to describe the overall meaning of “Best Revenge Is Success,” Gravity writes, “I feel like there is a song on my album for everyone, but my direct message is: this is my story as a youth told through music.” Gravity's record is definitely a personal one, but it's not just a journal of urban poetry. It's a microcosm of growing up in a cruel, often violent setting, where criminal behavior is often seen as the most promising way out. In the end, Gravity's tale is as much a personal one as it is a story of the disadvantaged youth both in the United States and abroad. “I know in my heart there's millions of people who have experienced or are going through the same things I have,” Gravity writes. “I do this for the have-nots, period.” Gravity also shouts out his beat makers: mjNichols, Epidemic Beats, Ricky Vela, Cxdy Beats, and Jacob “Lethal” Beats.
