Every song is about an ex, my mother cousins brothers sisters or my lovers. I hope it shows that we all come from different walks of life and it don’t matter where ur from, if ur talented enough ur dreams can come true.”

When talking about his start in music, Babymilo speaks mainly of family.

“This gift came from my mother,” he says. “She was in he choir and loves music. I started writing four years ago and I will never forget my brother telling me, 'Your body is in the ends,” meaning my 'hood or area, but my mind is beyond and it has always been that way with me.”

He's also quick to quote his dad.

My father told me, 'When you're rich and successful, don’t forget the 100 steps it took to get there,' and it will always humble me.”
