The songwriter and
producer of pop known as El-Jay has released his latest official
single, “Don't Stop the Beat.” The track is the first public
glimpse of his upcoming EP by the same name due out soon. It has been
proudly published as an independent release without the involvement
of the corporate music industry. Upbeat, energetic and endlessly
danceable, “Don't Stop the Beat” showcases El-Jay as one of the

Commenting on the overall

my songs are all about having fun, dancing, and allowing the music to
take control. The songs on my EP will all be club bangers that will
have the listeners wanting to dance. This particular single reminds
the listeners to just dance and don’t stop the beat, whether the
song is referring to the dance floor or making a correlation between
dance and sex. It all boils down to feeling the beat in your body and
allowing the beat to take control.”
Asked to describe his start in music, El-Jay writes, “I’ve always had an ear for music. My father was into music and I guess it was just passed down to me through genetics. I started writing at a young age my own songs to artists' instrumentals on cassette tapes.”
