The songwriter and
producer of hip hop known as Charlie BlackheArt has released his
latest official single, “Yung Wet Dreams.” The single has been
proudly published as an independent release without the involvement
of the corporate music industry. Eclectic, shadowy and taking a new
direction for this up-and-coming performer, “Yung Wet Dreams”
showcases Charlie BlackheArt as one of the most intriguing crossover
artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where
that came from.
Asked to cite some main
artistic influences, Charlie BlackheArt writes, “I actually love
all types of music. My major influences are hip hop, pop punk/alt
bands, psychedelic rock, and my favorite '90s R&B. Shouts out to
'112' Peaches and Creme was my favorite song growing up, no cap.”
Charlie BlackheArt's own
sound on “Yung Wet Dreams” takes elements from each of these and
adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's
music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on artistic
expression, tonal soundscaping and permeating ambiance, “Yung Wet
Dreams” by Charlie BlackheArt has a little something for everybody.
“If I were to
describe my music,” writes BlackheArt, “I would say it holds
close to who I am as a person – it's all over the place. I draw
inspiration from artists of all genres, even things like movies, TV,
the traveling I did as a kid, and of course my personal experiences.”
“Yung Wet Dreams”
comes on the heels of Charlie BlackheArt's December 2018 EP album
release, “F**cked Feels.” The popular record continues to gather
steam behind BlackheArt as he keeps up momentum with this new single
drop and promises of more to come.
Describing the overall
meaning of “Yung Wet Dreams,” Charlie BlackheArt says, “I would
say life goes on – heartbreak, loneliness, and disappointment are
all temporary. Never give up. Your glow up might come at your lowest
point.”
In the end, Charlie
BlackheArt's new single is as much about himself as it is about the
music.
“I've always loved
to create,” he says of this. “Ever since I was young, I would
write stories, draw comics, and explore my imagination to the
fullest. All of this, plus my scatterbrain personality, I think makes
me into the type of artist I am, someone my fans are going to see
grow and change drastically with each record I put out.”
“Yung Wet Dreams”
by Charlie BlackheArt is available from over 600 quality digital
music stores online worldwide now. Get in early, hip hop fans.
