Freddy Rugga releases new single 'Hate Me Much More'

The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Freddy Rugga has released his latest official single, “Hate Me Much More.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the VWAYORNOWAYENT record label. Unabashed, in your face, and a metric ton of fun, “Hate Me Much More” showcases Freddy Rugga as a party raiser and a dancefloor draw, and promises we can expect plenty more in the years to come.

Brooklyn, NYC's Freddy Rugga cites as main artistic influences Slick Rick, the Notorious B.I.G., Jay Z, Nas, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac Shakur. Freddy Rugga's own sound takes elements from each of these and adds a dash of that original New York sound for a result which sounds familiar and excitingly new all at once. With an emphasis on big, bassy back beats, well delivered lines and rhymes, and “Hate Me Much More” by Freddy Rugga has a little something for every avid hip-hop listener.

Commenting on the overall meaning of “Hate Me Much More,” Freddy Rugga says, “It's about my life's story, determination, and the will to be great.”

Asked to describe his start in music, Freddy Rugga writes that he fell in love with hip hop at the age of 15, but “jail time cut my dreams short at a very young age.” Years later, Rugga has honed his craft to a sharp point, and he's taking his career further than ever before. Having founded his own independent record label (VWAYORNOWAYENT), he has dropped several popular pieces over the last few months and years. These include singles such as “HipHop,” “Funk Muzik,” “4 in da Morning,” “Youza No,” “Block Starz,” and the present release, “Hate Me Much More.” He is also the producer, songwriter and performer of his debut EP, “Loyalty and Money”

Freddy Rugga is here to stay,” writes Rugga, “Good Muzik and Barz is his phrase.”
