The songwriter and
producer of hip hop known as Wizzdumb has released his latest
official EP album, “My Shot.” The EP album contains six original
Wizzdumb tracks for an approximate total listening time of 20
minutes. It has been proudly published as an independent release
without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the
Steamatic Records record label. Gritty, raunchy, and over-the-top,
“My Shot” showcases Wizzdumb as one of the most intriguing
hip-hop artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty
more where that came from.
In addition to the
considerable skills of Wizzdumb, himself, “My Shot” also features
a performance from popular reggae and hip-hop performer from Jamaica,
Bas360.
Los Angeles's Wizzdumb
cites as main artistic influences Lil Wayne, Tupac Shakur, the
Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Ab'Soul, and Kendrick Lamar. Wizzdumb's own
sound takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and
unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard
before. With an emphasis on lyric gymnastics, rock-solid back beats,
“My Shot” by Wizzdumb has a little something for everybody.
Asked to describe the
overall meaning of “My Shot,” Wizzdumb talks in terms of
inspiration and perseverance.
“There will be
struggles in life,” writes Wizzdumb. “Things can get tough, but
always keep a positive attitude. Work hard and never give up. And of
course, shoot your shot! You only get one life, so make the most of
it.”
“My Shot” is
Wizzdumb's followup to his debut EP record, “Blunt After Blunt,”
which he recorded with Bas360 as part of a collaboration, their
“JA2LA” mixtape, all of which may be found on the Steamatic
Recording indie music label.
“My Shot” by
Wizzdumb on the Steamatic Records label is available from over 600
quality digital music stores online worldwide now. Get in early,
hip-hop fans.
