The
songwriters and producers of dubstep, DnB and Midtempo known as Bad
Incubi have released their latest official single, “420.” The
single has been proudly published as an independent release without
the involvement of the corporate music industry on the record label
”Discoshit Records“. Mellow, colorful, and throbbing with bass,
“420” shows Bad Incubi is living their new style and promises
that they have plenty more where that came from.
Bad Incubi's
own sound takes elements from each of the artists which took
influence on them like Daft Punk, Prodigy, Pendulum and adds
something fresh, the hybrid character on their records, turns Bad
Incubi into a duo with potential for a huge audience. With an
emphasis on deep grooves and an irresistible flow, “420” by Bad
Incubi has a little something for everybody.
Asked to talk
about their aims and inspirations for “420,” Bad Incubi stated,
“It's a chill song to celebrate the longest 420 in this century. We
want to combine electronic elements with reggae sounds to vibe to
heavy basslines on 420.”
Bad Incubi's
current official bio describes them as Paul and Maryl who collaborate
to “establish strong Dubstep songs together“. That was before
their year off. Now they are fully reloaded with their new style.
Each part of
the duo was a DJ and digital music producer on their own, just
previous to setting up Bad Incubi. Paul has been creating and
performing original music for over eight years and considers himself
more in this light than as a DJ. Maryl, however, is a passionate DJ
who former performed as TWN RNR and is known for his massive sets and
mixtapes.
Their
bio continues:
“After
one year of Bad Incubi they played in different clubs in Germany and
the Netherlands. All in all, you can say that they want to be seen as
professional musicians in the scene and always try to come up with
new and stunning sounds as well as unusual ideas.”
“420”
by Bad Incubi on the Discoshit Records label is available on over 600
