of alt-country music known as Mike Johnson has released his latest
single, “Full Time Habit.” Like the rest of Johnson's recent

Mike Johnson cites as main artistic influences the Zac Brown Band,
Hootie and the Blowfish, and Kenny Chesney. His own singing has drawn
comparisons to that of Shawn Mullins and also of John Popper (Blues
Traveler). Having grown up in the town famous for raising
country-rock acts such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Sister
Hazel, and Don Felder and Bernie Leadon of the Eagles, it may come as
no surprise that Mike Johnson's “Full Time Habit” possesses
likewise elements of these, as well.
Asked to describe the
themes of his latest single, Johnson says, “You can love and depend
on your significant other so much that it feels like an addiction,
but in a good way!”
Mike Johnson is a live
performer with a full schedule in excess of 280 shows annually. Since
his start in professional music in 1994 at the age of 19, Johnson has
performed literally thousands and thousands of times, both as a solo
act and with bands. His set lists have included originals and cover
