Justified and Fathers In Hip Hop release new single 'Jehovah'

The songwriters and producers of hip hop known as Justified and Fathers In Hip Hop have released their latest official single, “Jehovah.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Uplifting, empowering, and specifically written to encourage the millions of struggling people today, Justified's “Jehovah” comes out of the gate as one of the most important hip-hop singles of 2019 so far and promises that Justified is just getting started.

The California High Desert's Justified Smith cites as main artistic influences two of the most legendary rap artists of the 1990s, Tupac Shakur and NWA's Ice Cube. Justified's own sound takes elements from both of these and adds his own pertinent message with an aggressively intelligent style for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before.

Speaking of that message, Justified writes, “This single expresses thanks and gives praise to Jehovah for bringing us through all our trials and tribulations, and the power of when Test Became Testimony.”

With an emphasis on social awareness, clever lines and rhymes, and unstoppable back beats, “Jehovah” by Justified has a little something for everybody.

Justified Smith has been long known in the High Desert as a popular recording artist and community “raptivist.” Today, his most prominent work is in the area of parental encouragement, particularly in the case of young fathers. Joining him on this song is Rhyme Rocca Recording Artist Nephew Michael from Lynwood who performs with Justified and Fathers In Hip Hop often. Together, they write, record and perform as Fathers In Hip Hop.

The current official bio of Fathers In Hip Hop describes them as taking “an intimate and up-close look into the testimony of various influential hip-hop artists with regards to their experiences and definitions of fatherhood.”

Too often,” writes Justified, “these types of artists are categorized as dead-beat dads and judged by their genre of music instead of who they are as fathers. FIHH covers testimonies of men discussing fatherhood from a variety of angles, exploring resources and introducing tips to better aid men in raising their children.”

These resources and tips include financial planning, such as how to obtain affordable life insurance, as well as other means of providing security for their children’s future.

“FIHH brings awareness to the importance of being an active father in a child’s life regardless of the circumstances,” Justified says. “FIHH will expose the effects that carry over into adulthood stemming from the absence of a father figure. Fathers In Hip Hop is impacting fatherhood engagement around the world!”

Jehovah” by Justified is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now. Get in early, hip-hop fans.
