Jahzo releases new single 'Dutty Wine'

The songwriter and producer of reggae and dancehall music known as Jahzo has released his latest official single, “Dutty Wine.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry. In addition to the considerable talents of Jahzo, himself, “Dutty Wine” also features the talents of popular S. African artist Swazi K. Fun, danceable, and bringing that legitimate SA reggae sound, “Dutty Wine” showcases Jahzo as one of the most intriguing dancehall music artists of summer 2019 and promises he has plenty more where that came from. Asked to describe the overall meaning of “Dutty Wine,” Jahzo writes, “'Dutty Wine' shares a message of fun and happiness in the spirit of summer, making it a good jam for the season.”

Jahzo was born Khathutshelo Trevor Muambadzi in Venda, Limpopo, South Africa.

“I fell in love with dancehall music during my varsity years in Cape Town,” he writes. “It was not until 2008 that I had my first opportunity to record my first song at Rudebwoy Entertainment Studios, which I now co-own with my brother.”

From that beginning it was clear Jahzo would be a popular name in the scene. His first track featured Major and Selector Jugglin. He has said that that’s when he realized he could contribute towards the South African dancehall movement.

2011 saw the release of his popular “Dem ah Fraud” single, which received play on public radio such as Phalaphala FM and YFM. The track later got an official music video which surfaced in 2013. This was followed by “Step Weh from Bottom” and “Burn Dem,” produced by Flyweh records in Cape Town and released in 2015. 2016 found Jahzo dropping his “Where Mi Come From” single, which also aired on Phalaphala FM, YFM and Tshwane FM, and which also received an official music video in 2016. His “African Queen” 2017 single saw him paired with Ghanaian artist June Hype, with whom he shot another video, this time directed by the country's best director, Kofi Awuah, who would go on to present this current release of “Dutty Wine.” 2018: Jahzo drops “Kuff Dem” feat. Bun Pot and Muzzla Kartel. The song goes on high rotation on YFM and other stations. Again a music video, again it is well received and makes it to Reggaeville and Channel O, as did “African Queen.”

Jahzo's 17 track EP, “The Intro,” appeared as a free download in 2018, featuring artists like Bun Pot and Swazi K, the latter of whom is also featured on “Dutty Wine.”

“Dutty Wine” represents the first taste of Jahzo's official debut LP album of the same name, “Dutty Wine,” which commemorates his tenth year in music. The entire album has an expected drop date of December 2019.

“Dutty Wine” was produced, mixed and mastered by Paul Hauss in Germany. Hauss has worked with dancehall artists such as Busy Signal, I-Octane, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and many more.

El compositor e intérprete de música norteña conocido como “El RH” ha lanzado su más reciente material discográfico, "Mi Mentor El Grande". Matt Hoy releases new album 'Touch'

After 10 years with Ali Campbell and his chapter of UB40 and extensive touring in the UK, Europe and throughout the world, the very talented Matt Hoy has found the time to record his first ever solo album “TOUCH”.

Birmingham (UK) born Matt has produced a superb record featuring 11 tracks of modern Reggae music that deliver pure listening pleasure. Collaborations with artistes like 2017 Grammy award nominees Raging Fyah (Best Reggae Album) and a duet with Ali Campbell help to make this a Must Have album for music lovers.

Matt has been performing music since the age of 11. His most formative early work came in the form of a band, Jojunc, which featured Karl Brazil on drums and Sean Barry on keyboards. Playing largely covers of Prince and Jamiroquai as well as selections from Motown, they moved on to originals before splitting up to chase other projects with Brazil joining James Blunt and Robbie Williams, Barry becoming musical director and keyboardist for Olly Murs.

Hoy, himself signed with Sony and teamed up with songwriter Terry Ronald (Kylie Minogue, S Club 7). At this time he shared the stage with several notable figures, such as Boy George, Wet Wet Wet, and Chaka Khan. Oxnylia releases new album 'Sovṙeignty'

The songwriter and producer of sonorous experimental music known as Oxnylia has released her latest official album, “Sovṙeignty.” The album contains 14 original Oxnylia tracks for an approximate total listening time of nearly an hour. Undeniably beautiful, inimitably creative, and founded on spiritual and metaphysical principles, “Sovṙeignty” showcases Oxnylia as one of the most intriguing independent music artists in recent memory.

Appropriately titled, “Sovṙeignty” goes far to inspire such personal liberty, often exhorting the listener with lyrics such as “Don't let them contain you.”

Oxnylia proudly and purposefully composes music in 432Hz (sometimes referred to as scientific pitch, or Verdi's A after composer Giuseppe Verdi). Her label, Shatabhisha, is named for the 24th nakshatra in Hindu astronomy, ruled by Varuna, deity of oceans and of the west.

Joe Sal releases new single 'She-Cat' feat. David Jackson

The songwriter and producer of alt-rock known as Joe Sal has released his latest official single, “She-Cat.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Joe Sal has been playing original music since the nineties when his older brother, Ettori Salati (The Watch, Alex Carpani Band, RedZen, SoulEngine) taught him the pentatonic scale. By 1999, he'd started fronting a trio, KickStart. They produced an LP, 2003's “Fuel,” and a single, “I Am Free,” in 2006. In addition to festival appearances, they were featured in magazines and on radio and TV shows. Sal went solo in 2012, and was soon offered a collaboration project with David Jackson of the UK's Van Der Graaf Generator. The next four years saw him touring worldwide and performing vocals on two Alex Carpani Band LPs, “4 Destinies” and “So Close So Far,” which also featured brother Ettore Salati and Van Der Graaf Generator's David Jackson, as well as Bologna's famed prog-rocker Alex Carpani on keys.

Besides his aforementioned solo record, "Live at Scimmie," his most prominent material appeared in the form of singles, “No Lies” (2018) and “I Belong to the Sun” (2019).

She-Cat sounds a bit different from the previous alternative rock oriented singles. The sound of S-C is jazzy and acoustic, and mr David Jackson's saxophones is the extra gear that makes the song fly.

“I didn't release them back then because these were demos,” Lindbloom writes, “and internet publishing possibilities were much more limited than today.
