Madame Kilo releases new album 'Grip'

The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Madame Kilo has released her latest official album, “Grip.” The album contains seven original Madame Kilo tracks for an approximate total listening time of 25 minutes. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Kilo Music Group record label. Gritty, direct, and packed with feminine power, “Grip” showcases Madame Kilo as one of the most intriguing hip hop artists of the year so far and promises that she has plenty more where that came from.

Kingston, Jamaica's Madame Kilo cites as main artistic influences Aaliyah, the Beatles, Phil Collins, and Michael Jackson. Madame Kilo's own sound takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on beats, hooks, and a metric ton of attitude, “Grip” by Madame Kilo has a little something for everybody.

Asked to describe the overall meaning of “Grip,” Madame Kilo writes, “Be fierce, be confident, and work smart.”

Madame Kilo's “Grip” is just the latest popular drop since her debut, full-length mixtape, “Dungtown,” which featured the popular single, “Run It Up.” “Run It Up” was released with an official music video which amassed more than 110,000 views before her tape even dropped. Other popular singles on her upcoming album include “Love Me Better” and “They Pretend.” All three tracks continue to grow Madamekilo's fan base by scores every day.

“Regardless of whether I get rich and famous from my songs, I want to be able to take care of my family,” writes Madame Kilo. “I want to be able to give back to the community I came from in Jamaica, so the kids there won't have to continue to go through what I went through. I want to feed the hungry, house the homeless, and end the violence. It is my dream and I fully intend to make it happen.”

Madame Kilo was born in Kingston, Jamaica, a region she has described as “a warzone.” She did not sleep in a bed until the age of 12, after making Florida her new home.

Madame Kilo writes of her long relationship with music, “When I listen to music I feel like I'm getting to know the artist. Listening to music and making music is totally different – music gives you visuals of their stories.”

According to Madame Kilo, she has been making music since the tender age of two. She has performed in such various locales as Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, New York, and Jamaica.

“Grip” by Madame Kilo on the Kilo Music Group label is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now. Get in early, hip hop fans.

Reggae artist CraigyDread releases new single 'Gone'

The singer and songwriter of reggae music known as CraigyDread (AKA Craigy Dread) has released his latest reggae single, “Gone.” The single has been proudly released on the Mind Music Production LLC independent record label without the influence or financial support of the corporate music industry. “Gone” is the most prominent official release from CraigyDread to date and represents an important milestone in the singer's career.

“Gone” has already dropped at larger music stores online and falls into the categories of reggae and Caribbean music. Fans of either genre are likely to be enthusiastic about this island-born party anthem, as are fans of live dance music, dancehall music, and on some levels even R 'n' B music. Sporting some of the most heartfelt lyrics and one of the most passionate performances ever to be recorded from the reggae scene, “Gone” by CraigyDread stands as evidence that CraigyDread is a voice to watch for fans of reggae music everywhere.

CraigyDread's “Gone” has romantic themes and describes a lover's fall from grace in the eyes of her lost love. The singer recounts how the object of his affection has mistreated, misjudged and at last spurned him so that she is ultimately 'gone' out from his life. CraigyDread's “Gone” single is particularly special in that it has blue notes riding on an upbeat and highly danceable rhythm and groove, making it one of a very few such unique reggae songs to be released in 2015 or ever before.

CraigyDread's “Gone” has been distributed to over 750 online music retailers around the world in time for an official release date of 4 July 2015, the same date on which the United States of America celebrates their largest national holiday, Independence Day. Full of groove, modern studio effects and the characteristic singing style of CraigyDread himself, “Gone” is a contemporary reggae track with something for everyone.

“Gone” by CraigyDread is available online worldwide beginning 4 July 2015 from the Mind Music Production LLC label.
