The rapper from Philadelphia known as
Bugzb has released his latest single, “Freak” feat. Jamillions.
In addition to the talents of Bugzb and Jamillions, it has been
produced by the popular DJ, DIM-C. The track has been proudly
published on the Nefertiti Entertainment independent record label
without the control or financial support of the corporate music
industry. Mixing elements of the old school with sonic styles of the
new millennium, “Freak” feat. Jamillions stands as proof that
Bugzb is a name to watch for fans of hip hop everywhere.
Bugzb cites as main artistic influences
such legends of hip hop and pop as Tupac Shakur, the Notorious
B.I.G., Lenny Kravitz, and Jay Z. His own signature sound takes
attributes from each of these to make a spacious, groovy dance floor
track based almost entirely on razor-sharp rapping and minimal melody
lines. Except for the rhythm provided by Bugzb and Jamillions
themselves, a whumping bass carries nearly all percussion through
each verse, more than enough for dancers to feel the move.
“Freak” by Bugzb is a track
excellently suited to DJ play lists, bumping in cars, and personal
