The rapper and producer of hip hop
known as Bugsy Jones has released his debut LP album, “F1rst
Impression.” The full-length record contains 10 original tracks for
an approximate total listening time of 40 minutes. It has been
proudly published as an independent release without the direction of
the corporate music industry. Stylish, direct, and bringing
aggressive amounts of party, “F1rst Impression” proves that Bugsy
Jones has urban poetry for days and days.
Nashville, TN's Bugsy Jones cites as
main artistic influences B.O.B., Fleetwood Mac, Lupe Fiasco, E-40,
Jadakiss, and Big K.R.I.T. His own style is built on razor-sharp
lines and rhymes, balancing his lyric play with solid back beats and
intriguing background melody lines.
Helping Bugsy Jones achieve the
complete picture are several talents of the TN hip hop scene. In
Jones' own words:

Outside this, “F1rst Impression” is
all Bugsy. The tracks on his LP are all original to him.
“I'm too much of a writer to let
anyone write for me,” he says. “I've always had a flare for
wordplay, and to make them flow like water over a beat is just bliss
to me.”
Asked to expand on the overall themes
of “F1rst Impression,” Jones describes the record as largely
autobiographical.
“I've experienced a lot in life,”
he says, “and put a lot of it in my music.”
He has called his new album “a real
emotional roller coaster.”
“As a fan,” says Bugsy Jones, “I
love to hear an artist put together a good, full body of work. That's
what this project 'F1rst Impression' is. There's something for
everyone, and I feel the listeners will be pleased with the songs,
production and wordplay on it.”
Jones himself has been characterized as
“a charismatic artist with the lyrical finesse of a millennial
