French EDM artist DP releases new album '(Psy)Trance Vol.1'

The composer and producer of EDM known as DP has released his latest full-length album, “(Psy)Trance Vol.1.” The LP record contains 13 original DP tracks for an approximate total listening time of over 100 minutes. Like the rest of DP's ever-growing repertoire, “(Psy)Trance Vol.1” has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Varied, upbeat, high-energy and high-impact, “(Psy)Trance Vol.1” is the latest reason for fans of the EDM sound to experience this unstoppable DJ from France.

DP (formerly known as DJ Pad) has been producing and composing digital music since 2008 at the age of 20. The French composer of EDM known internationally as DP has released his latest LP record, “House Vol. 1.” The album contains nine original DP tracks for an approximate total listening time of 45 minutes. Like the rest of DP's repertoire, it has been proudly published as an independent title without the direction of the corporate music industry. The French composer of electronic dance music known as DJ Pad has released his latest official LP album, “Dubstep: Second Strike.” The album contains 15 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of one hour. Like Pad's other records, it has been proudly published as an independent release by the 4000 Records underground label. Kaleidoscopic, pounding with bass, and full of tricks and surprises, “Dubstep: Second Strike” is perhaps the most innovative material to come from DJ Pad yet.

DJ Pad is perhaps best known around the world for arguably being Europe's most prolific EDM artist, if not her most prolific musician altogether. DJ Pad releases first album for 2016 'Psyko'Pad'

France's most prolific producer of electronic dance music, DJ Pad, has released his first full-length record for 2016, “Psyko'Pad.” Much more than a mere LP album, “Psyko'Pad” is a titanic, towering, lordly achievement of a record bearing 18 tracks over 2.8 hours. Also, as a special treat for his fans this year, Pad has included a remix of each of the record's songs in one continuous track. DJ Pad releases new single '4000'

The French composer of digital music known as DJ Pad has released his most recent single track, titled, “4000.” The track has been independently released of support from major corporate music companies on the 4000 Records music label. Not literally a single release but rather only a single in the categorical sense, DJ Pad's “4000” has been published with two other digital music tracks alongside, “Pride” and “Prism (Reloaded).” The trio of songs have a combined approximate total listening time of 15 minutes, longer than some EP album releases.

DJ Pad cites such artists as Hallucinogen, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Angerfist, Afrojack, Sebastian, Hanz Zimmer, and Mike Oldfield as main artistic influences. He describes himself in one online bio in the following few words: “I’m a french producer who makes trance, house, hardcore/gabber and some other styles of music like psytrance/ambient/dubstep.”

“4000” is DJ Pad's most significant official release since his late 2012 double LP record, “Waiting to be Discovered,” a gigantic and remarkable record which included two hours of music. It was this record which broke DJ Pad to the music listening world, and one which permanently lifted him to the status of one of France's most imminent and creative EDM artists in recent years.

To date, DJ Pad has composed a great many hours of music – 35 at last public count – and has made five albums available to the public. He has said that his goal in making music is to inspire good feelings in the hearts of his fans, and to “share the craziness and the happiness of the songs' beats, making listeners have a sudden urge to move their feet and forget all the worries of life.”

French DJ artist, Dj Pad has released new album “Waiting to be Discovered”

French artist Dj Pad has released his newest long playing album, “Waiting to Be Discovered.” The record is extremely creative and unique, drawing from the widely varied techno and digital music genre in surprisingly different ways. Dj Pad opens up his record with sounds not unlike Moby's, but quickly moves into unlikely, less mainstream areas such as eighties synth disco (see “Bleed Electric,” track four) and post-trance/psytrance (“Back to School” track eleven). Several touches of dubstep are present, as well as some wholly dubstep tracks, but the album has only one overarching tone and style – Dj Pad's own – and he is as comfortable composing an old school early nineties deep house track as he is a 2012 dubstep epic.

In addition to the record's versatility, it is also unusually enormous for a single release: “Waiting to be Discovered” is over an hour and a half long, though Dj Pad suggests that this could easily be enlarged to encompass much, much more. “I spend many hours per day composing tracks,” he writes. “At the moment, I’ve produced almost 35 hours of music.” Unsurprisingly, this remarkable collection of compositions shows a healthy use of differentiation. “I’ve slowly begun to producing some experimental tracks, and also to focus on more mainstream genres,” writes Dj Pad. “I’ve released five albums that are freely available, but now I’m thinking of going to the next level, although making money is not really the point.” The album title, therefore, is not allegorical: “I mostly want to increase my visibility.”

As influences Dj Pad names the artists Hallucinogen, ATB, Cosmic Gate, Angerfist, Afrojack, Sebastian, Hanz Zimmer, and Mike Oldfield, a list which stretches decades back and also into the contemporary releases category, which explains how Pad has become so elastic in his skills as a song smith. Another hint of this has to do with Pad's own background as a musician. “I’ve started making electronic music simply by curiosity, though I really started playing music much younger; I've been playing accordion for 15 years.” This affinity with traditional instruments is perhaps how he has learned to leave space between his many layers of sound. Many modern digital artists simply throw track after track on top of one another, creating the same sort of mush that develops when too much of anything is mixed together.

“Waiting to be Discovered” is easily Dj Pad's best collection of tracks to-date, and is widely available online beginning December 28 of 2012.
