Numan Cole releases new single 'Mid Scream'

The songwriter and producer of hip hop and electro-pop known as Numan Cole has released his latest official single, “Mid Scream.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Hot Lemonade record label. Genre-crossing, based on a rock-solid back beat and 100% radio-ready, “Mid Scream” showcases Numan Cole as one of the most intriguing pop and hip hop artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Numan Cole cites as main artistic influences a melange of rock, pop and electronica artists. These include Prince, Depeche Mode, Queen, INXS, Muse, Portishead, and Chemical Brothers. Numan Cole's own sound takes elements from each of these and adds his own ultra-slick studio production and uncommon ecological conscientiousness.

“Environmentally conscious hip hop?” leads a current Numan Cole press release. “Is it possible?”

With an emphasis on snappy, futuristic songwriting, catchy hooks, and ultra-contemporary tones and themes, “Mid Scream” by Numan Cole has a little something for all today's music fans. It has also been released with an official music video (link provided below).

Asked to describe the overall meaning of “Mid Scream,” Hot Lemonade writes: “Mid Scream has a catchy production, but it also has a very personal sound. It explores the frustration of having regrets in life, and it follows a unique storyline, telling the tale of someone who knocked over a young woman in a car and returned to save her life. This is a powerful metaphor that relates to how we, as humans, are harming nature, and we are reaching a point of no return with pollution and environmental abuse. Can we turn back and save our Mother Earth who is dying in our arms whilst in Mid Scream?”

The work of Numan Cole can be called concept art. His entire body of music – and his persona as a whole, in fact – describes an ongoing story much like David Bowie enacted with Ziggy Stardust.

An official bio for Numan Cole available at the Hot Lemonade website describes him as “a digital prophet who was created in the year one million A.D by the most advanced A.I system at the time.” Following nuclear catastrophe on Earth, “Numan’s digital soul gained full consciousness one night as the the feelings of grief and loss manifested after witnessing the death of the last human in his arms. Confused and alone, Numan decided to time travel back to today and warn human’s of the consequences of their actions through music and film.”

Other listeners have described Numan Cole as combining “intelligent and poignant lyrics with beautifully enduring melodies” and “going for a really genuine and diverse sound. If you enjoy hip- hop with a diverse twist, [Mid Scream] is going to be right up your alley.”

Mid Scream has reached No. 1 on the Drooble Top-50 Hip Hop Charts. Drooble is a social media platform with over 63,000 music artists for members.

Be sure also not to miss high-definition videos from Numan Cole available for free viewing and listening at the official Numan Cole website (also provided below).

The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Charlie BlackheArt has released his latest official single, “Yung Wet Dreams.” The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Eclectic, shadowy and taking a new direction for this up-and-coming performer, “Yung Wet Dreams” showcases Charlie BlackheArt as one of the most intriguing crossover artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Asked to cite some main artistic influences, Charlie BlackheArt writes, “I actually love all types of music. My major influences are hip hop, pop punk/alt bands, psychedelic rock, and my favorite '90s R&B. Shouts out to '112' Peaches and Creme was my favorite song growing up, no cap.”

Charlie BlackheArt's own sound on “Yung Wet Dreams” takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on artistic expression, tonal soundscaping and permeating ambiance, “Yung Wet Dreams” by Charlie BlackheArt has a little something for everybody.

“If I were to describe my music,” writes BlackheArt, “I would say it holds close to who I am as a person – it's all over the place. I draw inspiration from artists of all genres, even things like movies, TV, the traveling I did as a kid, and of course my personal experiences.”

“Yung Wet Dreams” comes on the heels of Charlie BlackheArt's December 2018 EP album release, “F**cked Feels.” The popular record continues to gather steam behind BlackheArt as he keeps up momentum with this new single drop and promises of more to come.

All of this, plus my scatterbrain personality, I think makes me into the type of artist I am, someone my fans are going to see grow and change drastically with each record I put out.”

The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Alex Coleman has released his latest official album, “Alleviate Biz State.” The album contains eight original Alex Coleman tracks for an approximate total listening time of half an hour. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Asli Nincs Srange record label. Provocative, socially conscientious, and built on rock-solid back beats, “Alleviate Biz State” showcases Alex Coleman as one of the most intriguing hip-hop artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Baltimore, MD's Alex Coleman cites as main artistic influences Will Smith, DMX, Nas, and Dr.Dre. With an emphasis on old-school hooks, carefully crafted rhymes, and an intent to change the world, “Alleviate Biz State” by Alex Coleman has a little something for everybody.

Asked to describe the overall meaning of “Alleviate Biz State,” Alex Coleman writes, “The message this album shares with its listeners is that real hip hop has returned. Excuse the profanity but most of these mainstream rappers are bulls--t. Most if not all of the mainstream rappers are rapping about things they never did and/or portraying a lifestyle that is way above their means. Unlike albums by said artists, 'Alleviate Biz State' comes at you hard from beginning to end, and when the last track has finished playing, the listener will move on with the satisfaction that real authentic hip hop has returned in full force.”

Alex Coleman has been recording music since 2013. His current official bio notes that at age 12 he began an old-school hip-hop CD collection. This would become integral to “Alleviate Biz State.” Shortly thereafter, his CDs were stolen. When he started collecting again, he focused on current and catalog albums. He has since been performing at venues such as the Teavolve Cafe, the Ottobar, and the Depot.

“What you currently hear music-quality-wise is five-plus years of trial and error in the pursuit of a level of excellence that's on par if not better than the albums in his CD collection,” his bio states. “It's an absurd goal, no doubt about it, but Alex has never been one to take the easy route. That is why this emcee from Baltimore, MD will end his career as a bonafide hip-hop legend.”

Bringing a gritty, true to life narrative, surgically precise beats, and top-shelf urban poetry, “Quarter Milli Marcel” by Pete Myers has a little something for every avid hip hop listener.

This project allows Pete Myers to take a back seat while Quarter Milli Marcel gets to drive for a change.”

Pete Myers dropped his first mixtape, “Progress Is the Process,” in 2011. A versatile, comprehensive survey of Myers' talents, “Progess...” contained 21 original tracks ranging from love songs to hardcore rap tracks. “Although he loved his hometown of Bluefield, WV,” his current bio reads, “he knew that to get something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. Today, Imjustsav strives to further his career as a producer. It's not all just for him, though.

“With having my own son at the age of 23,” he says, “it's vitally important for me to invest the same time and energy that was invested into me to 'become great' into him.”

With an emphasis on sparkling hooks and miles of clever lines and rhymes, “Tony RichTana” by Just Rich Gates has a little something for every avid hip hop listener.

Commenting on the overall goals of “Tony RichTana,” Just Rich Gates says, “It’s a 13-track mixtape with notable featured artists such as Frenchie, Chaz Gotti, Derez Deshon of Brick Squad, Mpr Wee and Mpr Quakeo (Money Power Respect), Vonte Gates, Chris Gates, and New Jack Nino (JCE Gang). Most songs were produced by 808 Mafia. Normally I would pick out which ones were my favorite, but every track on here is a smash. I can hear every song on the radio. This is real trap hip hop music. Just Rich Gates is really bringing back that sound and I’m here for it. 808 Mafia really did their thing. Wow.”

AK releases new LP album 'L.I.F.E'

The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as AK has released his latest official LP album, “L.I.F.E.” The album contains 12 original AK tracks for an approximate total listening time of 45 minutes. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Malik Entertainment record label. Aggressive, full of bass, and packed with attitude, “L.I.F.E” showcases AK as one of the most intriguing hip hop artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

AK cites as main artistic influences Tupac Shakur, the Notorious B.I.G, Big Pun, N.W.A, Big L, and Mobb Deep. AK's own sound has been described as smooth, rolling, and marked by his trademark direct delivery. With an emphasis on poetry underscored by minimalist beats and classy, nineties-style melody lines, “L.I.F.E” by AK has a little something for everybody.

“AK’s strong vocal delivery makes me think of artists as diverse as Drake, J Cole, and Kanye West,” says one representative for Malik Ent. “It makes for a really powerful and dynamic feel.”

Asked to describe the overall meaning of “L.I.F.E,” Malik writes, “The album shares with listeners a great message about life and a perspective of AK's view on life. Not only does the album have a great message but there is lots of talent provided. Lots of songs from the album talk about friendship, love, women, hope, money, fame and happiness. Hopefully 'L.I.F.E' can inspire the listeners to enjoy and celebrate the gift of life when they play the music from the album.”

AK has publicly noted his disappointment in the current direction of hip hop as a whole, as has his label. Malik has described “L.I.F.E” by AK as a record which aims to help turn the course of rap music.

“This album is a much-needed breath of fresh air,” writes Malik, “particularly in a genre such as hip-hop. Everyone seems to be stuck in the same old cliches, and as a result, this particular music scene is becoming a little bit stale. However, every once in a while something fantastic and full of heart comes up, just like AK’s new release.”

Rapper Xtravagant releases new single 'Wonder Why Lil Shawty'

The rapper and producer of hip hop known as Xtravagant has released his latest official single, “Wonder Why Lil Shawty.” The track has been proudly published on the 6 Figure Gang independent record label without the direction of the corporate music industry. Riding a deep, rolling bass track with rat-a-tat percussion and an ultra-smooth vocal style, “Wonder Why Lil Shawty” shows every sign of being Xtravagant's new flagship track in 2018.

Xtravagant cites as main artistic influences Tupac Shakur, Master P, Lil Boosie, Lil Webbie, Future, Rich Homie Quan, Lil Durk, Yo Gotti, Tee Grizzly, Lil Durk and “plenty others.” His own sound bears elements of each of these while retaining a signature all its own.

“Since I was a child I always had passion for music,” writes Xtravagant. “Think I was about 16 when I really wrote my first couple bars though. During my incarceration I really started to take it serious while it became a better way to express myself and to relieve stress.”

Incarceration helped Xtravagant's music career in more than one way, though. “Wonder Why Lil Shawty” is based on an autobiographical behind-bars story.

“It gives an insight of my life to the listeners,” Xtravagant says. “It speaks about an ex-girlfriend not remaining loyal nor keeping it real by holding me down while I'm incarcerated. In the song, it's other females being spoken about, also. Once I'm free and they see me doing good, now they trying to be a part of life again. The song is real. So I guess you can say I'm sharing one of my life stories with my fans.”

Xtravagant is the stage name of Moses Le'Cal Stallings from Aiken, South Carolina. Having grown up on the rougher north side of town, Xtravagant's youth revolved around drug addicts, drug dealers, gang violence, and school expulsion.

“My mother moved me and the family to Norcross, GA, where I was then enrolled at Norcross High,” writes Xtravagant. “Running the streetz and selling drugs on the daily, my mother knew it wasn't no changing me, so she took me back to South Carolina to live with my auntie and uncle. She always said if I was ever to get locked up, at least it would be where we are from.”

Xtravagant knew his lifestyle could not end well, so he made plans for college and the US Army, respectively.

“I was going to end up dead or in prison,” he says. “I told my mother and my girlfriend about my plans, however they disagreed, not wanting me that far off. Couple months later I was locked up for armed robbery and assault and battery with intent to kill.”

Xtravagant was sentenced to 13 years and received an additional 10 years ran concurrently for actions he says resulted in self defense.

“I started reading books,” Xtravagant writes. “I started seeking knowledge of self. I found out who I truly was and what I really wanted out of life. I learned that I could do anything I put my mind to. I started writing music without being taught. I told myself I would never let the devil try to destroy me again. I switched from negative to positive with the help of God. So now I'm here waiting to be released, so that I can really pursue my dreams.”

“Wonder Why Lil Shawty” from Xtravagant is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now.

Pop singer Geron releases new single 'That's Me'

The singer and performer of pop and hip hop known as Geron has released her latest official single, “That's Me.” The track has been proudly published on the Bergeron Musique independent record label without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Impeccably performed, precisely produced, and intuitively written, “That's Me” is a single to put Geron on the map across several music categories.

Geron cites as main musical influences Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera. As such, her own style often moves between the pop and hip hop genres. Geron's vocal tones have been described as “unique, with a serious, soulful, and mysterious quality that lends itself to alternative R&B.” Her current release of the “That's Me” single is the public's first glimpse into a debut EP album which she has hinted will drop in Q4 of 2018.

By Kindergarten, Geron was already playing piano. Her first performance in a recital came just two years later. She performed as a soloist in her church choir by nine years old. She is classically trained as a vocalist.

Geron’s musical beginnings stay alive on her parents’ VHS tapes. Since a toddler, she’s been singing and dancing. By Kindergarten, she was playing piano and her first recital followed a couple years later. At age nine, she became a soloist in the church choir, and eventually took vocal lessons. When the lessons ended, she continued playing and singing. Then in high school, she told her mom she wanted to pursue a career in music.

An avid songwriter, Geron enjoys speaking openly about her personal life in her music. Songs by Geron tend toward the introspective, the genuine, and the autobiographical. She has gone on record to state that the three-decade-strong marriage of her parents “has influenced [her] greatly.”

“Some of her songs weave a tale about the dark side of relationships, too, though,” says Bergeron Musique, “and her lyrics often have complex or dual meanings.”

Geron has attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has started a career in TV and film, but also looks forward to working in the theatre, which combines her love of acting and singing. Her current official bio notes that, “In every role, Geron wants to be a role model and a testament of all that’s possible when you keep your eye on the prize.” It concludes by saying, “Geron is excited about releasing 'That’s Me' as it marks the revamping of her sound and the hard-launch of her brand.”

“That's Me” by Geron is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now.
