Bemet release new self-titled EP

The composers of electronic music known around the world as Bemet have released their self-titled EP, “Bemet.” The extended-play record contains five original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 15 minutes. It has been proudly published on the InchPerSecond Records independent music label, entirely without financial support from the corporate music industry. Innovative, colorful, infinitely danceable and alive with sonic textures, “Bemet” by Bemet is the latest EDM record to prove that Israel's electronic music culture produces some of the best in the world.

Rather than naming names, Bemet cite as main artistic influences whole categories of music, including rock, jazz, psychedelia and experimental music, but their actual style belongs to more specific modern categories such as bass music, drum-&-bass, and breaks. The five tracks offered on “Bemet” showcase them as an act which utilizes elements of each to elicit various effects. Their aggressive overtones and tribal, yet sophisticated drums are akin to those found in rock and jazz, respectively. Their opening intro track, “Saboye,” is both psychedelic and experimental in nature, a fitting primer for the rest of the record. They are known in Israel and abroad as a vivifying live performance group.

Bemet are Hod Moshonov and Amir Bresler, composers who blend acoustic and electronic instrumentation for a top-shelf sound that has been turning heads internationally. Prior to Bemet's official formation in 2013, both Moshonov and Bresler enjoyed years of success as solo artists respectively. Amir Bresler toured the world with famous bassist, singer and composer Avishai Cohen, and has shared the stage with such talents as Daniel Zamir, Alon Olearchick and Shlomo Gronich. Hod Mosohonov, a widely respected composer in the Israeli electronica underground, himself, has collaborated with artists including Yossi Fine, Terri Lyne Carrington, Matti Caspi, and others.

Bemet's official bio describes them as having together “developed a language based primarily on rhythms, melodies and harmonies,” and an “open sense of humor.” “They combine their personal interpretations and thus form an honest and touching statement out of true, modern music,” it states. Bemet have already collaborated with such names as Laroz, MC Rebel Sun and Ruslan Sirota.

Angelina E releases debut single 'He Creepin'

The singer and songwriter known as Angelina E has released her latest single, “He Creepin.” The single has been concurrently released with a corresponding official music video, available now. The single track, “He Creepin,” is also available for listening and download online everywhere. Both feminine and aggressive in her urban style and themes, Angelina E has made this anti-infidelity anthem from endless amounts of rhythm, bass and bump.

Angelina E hails from the hip-hop hotbed of West Philadelphia. She cites as main artistic influences titans like Kanye West, Drake, Frank Ocean and Childish Gambino. Her own mode of music is unlike that of anyone else, however, baring much of her strong character and creative sonic vision. Angelina E has been a music artist for most of her life.

“I started writing at the age of 10,” she writes. “Music came to me very naturally and organically. It's my passion.”

Her official bio quotes her as having given the following mission statement for her music: “To break new grounds, to explore different topics, and to do something that's never been done before.”

These topics Angelina E explores are widely varied enough to ring true to virtually any music listener. She is particularly equipped to write and perform songs of this nature, having come from family who mostly disdained her lofty music goals.

Angelina E went on to earn a university degree in music business and business and communications, with which she graduated a semester ahead of schedule. Benjamin Maurell releases debut single 'Sticky Situation'

The singer and songwriter of roots reggae known as Benjamin Maurell has released his debut solo single, “Sticky Situation.” The single has been proudly published on the Rudebwoy Entertainment independent music label without support from the corporate music industry. Zenith Horizon releases debut EP 'Colour Is Key'

Art&Sax release new single 'Introduction et Variations sur une Ronde Populaire (Fonai Remix)'

The saxophone quartet known in Europe and internationally as Art&Sax have released their latest single, “Introduction et Variations sur une Ronde Populaire (Fonai Remix).” The track is the most significant official release from the group since their popular July 2014 debut EP, “Gare St. Lazare,” which garnered them positive remarks from music critics and casual listeners alike from around the globe. The Fonai remix of “Introduction et Variations sur une Ronde Populaire” by Art&Sax is the most recent example of today's classical resurgence in modern listening trends, as well as a sign that classic compositions can still be renewed by players like Art&Sax with dazzlingly creative, contemporary flair.

“Introduction et Variations sur une Ronde Populaire” is a standard classical piece for saxophone quartets by French composer Gabriel Pierne. J. Walker releases new LP 'I'm a Christian'

The rapper and producer of Christian hip hop known as J. Walker has released his latest LP album, “I'm a Christian.” The album is composed of 16 original tracks for a total listening time of one full hour. In addition to the considerable talents of J. Walker himself, the record also features the talents of Freeda, God's Mic, Martha Noelle, and the Lion's Den, a music label and collective of Christian musicians of which J. Walker is both founder and an active part. Welsh band Amser release new LP 'Crochan'

The Welsh band known as Amser have released their latest LP record, “Crochan.” The album is composed of 11 original tracks, mainly instrumental but also with vocals, for an approximate total listening time of 50 minutes. It has been proudly published on the Bricsan independent music label without the support of corporate music entities. Steeped in the music tradition and spirit of Wales, yet with contemporary frills and a bluesy, jazzy undertone, “Crochan” by Amser is a record unlike any other from the heart of the United Kingdom.

“Crochan” by Amser (which mean 'Cauldron' and 'Time,' respectively) is a record which equally holds its own as fare for the serious music aficionado, or as a pleasing backdrop for social events, studying, or virtually any circumstance in general. The soul of Amser is guitarist Dave Stephen, a Welsh rock sculptor working largely with slate at his workshop in North Wales. He has been performing music for over 40 years and writes his own songs, often with fellow collaborator Gareth Moriarty and the occasional other. Asked to comment on Amser and their new “Crochan” record, he writes:

“This album ('Crochan') is the second by Amser. We specialise in mainly instrumental, self-penned pieces with a Celtic backdrop, although with all sorts of different influences. 'Crochan' also contains two songs with vocals, which is a new element.”
