Rapper Bugsy Jones releases debut LP 'F1rst Impression'

The rapper and producer of hip hop known as Bugsy Jones has released his debut LP album, “F1rst Impression.” The full-length record contains 10 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 40 minutes. “I'm too much of a writer to let anyone write for me,” he says. “I've always had a flare for wordplay, and to make them flow like water over a beat is just bliss to me.”

Asked to expand on the overall themes of “F1rst Impression,” Jones describes the record as largely autobiographical.

“I've experienced a lot in life,” he says, “and put a lot of it in my music.”

He has called his new album “a real emotional roller coaster.”

Hard rock crew Blacken The Day release new LP 'Eternal Eclipse'

The artists of heavy rock music known as Blacken The Day have released their latest LP album, “Eternal Eclipse.” The record includes eight original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 45 minutes. While this unlikely melange may not paint much of a sonic picture, the fact remains that elements of each do present themselves in “Eternal Eclipse.” If Lacuna Coil had perhaps moments during which Bjork sang lead while Jeff Lynne of ELO played piano, and if the following track featured Slipknot's chunky guitars on a chord progression written by Mudvayne, and if the whole affair had been produced by Bowie using reel-to-reel recordings with the raw-or-nothing principles of Hendrix – then the result could sound very much like Blacken The Day's “Eternal Eclipse.”

The album will appeal to fans of lyric depth, too. Asked to comment on the overall themes of the record, each member had a different perspective, faithfully recorded below:

“Well, that's interpreted more so by the listener, but I always felt it was a story of overcoming the struggles in life by any means necessary,” writes Christopher Poss.

Blacken The Day's Dragmire says, “Don't be afraid to create something beautiful to share with the world, be it music, poetry, paintings, or anything that makes you feel good to make. The world will seem less ugly with more art.”

Says Christopher Graham of the project, “This album will let people know that there is always someone out there that can relate to what you are, or have gone through. This album will be the voice of the voiceless. Also, good and original rock music is not dead …”

Cassandra Ann writes, “The entire album tells a story front to back. A person is anxious, freaked out, can't sleep. You start wondering what the problem is. As you listen to the album you realize the person is going through a lengthy period of reflection after a bad breakup/divorce. After sabotaging him/herself, all he/she wants is to become numb to the pain. The resolution is somewhat bittersweet as nobody gets better, even if the situation becomes clear in the end.”

JBarrera releases official single 'Seduceme'

The singer and songwriter of Latin reggaeton and hip hop known as JBarrera has released his latest official single, “Seduceme.” The track has been proudly published as an independent release without the direction of the corporate music industry. “My music influence, it's always been urban reggaeton, hip hop dancehall,” says JBarrera. “Right now I'm releasing 'Seduceme,' the single of my first album which is coming soon. Most of the producing was made in Colombia. I hope everybody likes it.”

The Latin singer's relationship with music is a deeply personal one.

“I love music,” he says, “especially if I can express what I feel through it.”
