On the 27th of May 2014, Fadi Awad has
released his new album "Ultimate Selection", distributed
through the same panel that distributes to Universal Music Group
digitally! The album contains new versions of many existing tracks
that fit radios, clubs and more... As well as 2 brand new tracks: A
mash up of "Take Me Higher & Into Deep", and the long
instrumental mix of his upcoming single "World Soccer",
that will be released in June! A single that fits all the Soccer
tournaments, starting from FIFA WORLD CUP 2014!...
After being posted by Juno Download for
around a week as Pre-Release, the album has made it and leaded the
sales charts of Pop-Trance albums there straight after the
release!!!... The album was charted in ITunes new releases chart, as
well as many tracks have been highly charted in Beatport and other
stores which is a good kick off!
"Our team has done a good step
forward! Our aim is to be hosted completely by a Major Company! We
deserve this, we have good charted pieces and wonderful artists on
board! Effective promotion costs a lot these days, we don't have a
sponsor and we have families to feed!" and Fadi proceeded: "I'm
not a limited electronic music producer, I'm a music producer and
composer who composes many good genres! We always try not to imitate
anyone! We have our own style that is in the middle between Music &
Electronic Music, taking from what we consider good from new and old
styles, which gives our music a distinguish flavor... We take what is
beautiful from everywhere because the good music doesn't have an
expiry date! Many artists do that... After all, when you consider
music composing a limited science project, it's not music anymore...
We basically do music for audience ears from all ages, that's why we
focus on the beauty of the melodies and we avoid using noisy
instruments and over using effects to cover our musicology weakness,
because it doesn't exist!!! We are Musicians, we studied music, we
play music & play on music instruments, we are not Webmasters who
work in music composing! Notice that most of our singers are
professionals, perform with top bands, and we even have famous ones
on board, not just simple vocalists. And, we don't use vocoders in
our recordings!... I do many genres because I've been in the industry
since 1986 and been there when many genres went up and down, so I'm
naturally influenced by the good tracks from many good genres! In the
80s & 90s and in the first years of the second millenium, the
radios & clubs didn't use to hire DJs unless they test them well
in every good genre! Not like now... The old school days were
different. We counted on our hands to build up, not basically on
technology... We now respect every old and new artist & think
that they should respect the same way we do... Making fun of old
artists & bands is ironic, childish, & unprofessional because
those who do this don't even have the quarter of music Awards &
achievements that were earned & done by those old gold Legends...
It's better for everyone to focus on minding their own businesses to
dig their ways to success... I do believe that it is time for the
DJs/Producers to unite more in the Industry! It's not necessary to
collaborate only with those who produce your same genre! On the
contrary, collaboration is more successful with different producers
because the volume of audience will grow more and you both introduce
yourselves to each others fans! It's like the different fingers in a
hand! I've been asking all the nations since 1998 to do Governmental
Syndicates for DJs to organize this job and to secrure a better
future for all the DJs (just like labors and all...)! We hope that
many DJs work on this matter effectively to achieve it as well, it is
needed because if this job continues to go backwards, the real DJ
will soon add to his long jobs list "GOGO DANCER"!!!"
At that time, everyone who were there
laughed, then a reporter asked him: "We have noticed last year
and the years before that many brilliant International Artists were
honored in USA, which is good for them, while their countries main
music & media institutions didn't even know about their existence
& achievements, or pretended not to! Generally speaking, isn't it
a humiliation for such local institutions when their local artists
are discovered, evaluated and honored abroad, in a Major Music
Country, without being discovered and supported locally first? How do
you explain this???"... Fadi replied:" USA was always been
and still the Mother of the international English Music Artists. It
has the biggest capacities & the best policies to discover, help
and promote international artists based on clear requirements (high
talent level, clear criteria...). Throughout the History, the
majority of the Legends & Artists became famous due to their
concerts & deals done in USA & still... In the music and
media institutions, there are Star Makers and copy pastors... USA's
music and media institutions are the leading Star Makers worldwide...
Generally speaking, the policy and the capacity of every music &
media institution in the world vary! But after all, the institution
is like a person, they handle all the responsibilities &
consequences of their decisions and business policies... If the
decisions taken are right, they will collect good results, if the
decisions & policies are wrong, I don't think that they are
stronger than the Old Empires on Earth who took wrong decisions that
assisted in making them weak, then weaker, before they vanished!...
Finally, we are always open for serious approaches with everyone,
without any exception! Our policy is to gather and not to divide! But
it is normal to give the priority of effective support to all those
who effectively support us! We are loyal people who give according to
what they get! Last but not least, I thank all who participated from
every side in doing & releasing my new album, hoping for the best
:)"...
