FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –
The composer of digital hip-hop music
known as the Crack Factory has released his latest LP record, titled,
“Trilateral Commission: Instrumentals by the Crack Factory.” The
record is comprised of 10 original tracks for an approximate total
listening time of 45 minutes. It has been released on the Crack
Factory independent music records label. An entirely instrumental
record founded on solid back beats, stylish loops and clever
melodies, “Trilateral Commission...” by the Crack Factory is a
rare example of hip hop music written to stand without an emphasis on
rap vocals, an excellent addition to any collection of instrumental
music.
Crack Factory cites as main artistic
influences such crews as 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, Wu-Tang
Clan, J Dilla, the Roots, and a heap of others. Slotted between
Bone-Thugz-N-Harmony and the Delphonics, however, sits a surprising
phrase: YouTube conspiracy channels. While such videos may seem like
an unlikely source of musical inspiration, Crack Factory uses the
sinister, collegiate tone of such discussions to set the mood of his
“Trilateral Commission...” record.
Crack Factory writes of this, “[My
record] is an instrumental album that expresses the emotions of a
2013 American citizen. Each Instrumental on the album represents a
different conspiracy theory. Each instrumental captures the essence
of each of these theories.”
The effectiveness of these songs in
doing so is uncanny. Any one of them would work flawlessly as the
background score to a Dan Brown film, or to a viral Internet exposé
such as “Zeitgeist.” Music fans without a background in such
information can entertain themselves while listening to Crack
Factory's record by reading up on some of the song titles: “Treaty
of Grenada,” “The Majestic Twelve,” or “Project Blue Beam,”
for instance.
The Crack Factory lives in the music
hotbed of the Washington DC Metro Area.
“Trilateral Commission: Instrumentals
by the Crack Factory” is available online worldwide.
