FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –
The singer and songwriter of smooth
jazz known as Anthony Williams has released his latest LP album, “Way
to Your Heart.” The album is comprised of 16 tracks for an
approximate total listening time of one full hour. It has been
proudly released on the Wood 'n' Nickle Productions music label. A
generous and comprehensive collection of original Williams material,
“Way to Your Heart” serves as a compelling introduction to the
Anthony Williams sound.
Williams cites as main artistic
influences John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Art Blakey, and Billy
Cobham. “Way to Your Heart,” which has been billed as “Music
for the mature listener,” fits very nicely in a set containing all
of them. It is suitable listening for any number of circumstances,
having a high shine on its tone and a subtle, smoky complexity in its
various compositions which will entice attentive fans of jazz in
general.
Singer Anthony Williams is a former
alum of the Chicago Band, as well as of the popular vocal group,
Charisma. He is currently on tour with the Christland Singers. He is
joined on “Way to Your Heart” by Donald Wiles on keyboard. Wiles
was a regular player for Albertina Walker, who is often referred to
as the Queen of Gospel Music, until she passed away in 2010.
“Way to Your Heart” is featured in
over 24 radio stations across the United States. Indie 104 FM in Los
Angeles spotlighted the record as their Album of the Week. Paul
Loggins of New Music Weekly writes,
“Anthony Williams has an album that
deserves your immediate attention. 'Way to Your Heart' is showing
some major progress . . . Please remember you heard about Anthony
Williams first, right here.”
“Newcomer Anthony Williams is off to
a powerful start,” said Larry Weir of Heartland Entertainment
Group. “His debut album, 'Way to Your Heart' has ranked No. 1
Most-Added for several weeks.”
