FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –
The Los Angeles singer and songwriter known as Preme Writez has released his long-awaited EP record, “Love Letter.” The extended-play album is comprised of six original tracks for a total listening time of over twenty minutes. It has been proudly released on the Flyboy Rockstar Music Group Inc. record label. A contemporary pop record that blends elements of R&B and soul for a smooth, stylish sound with undertones of deep groove, “Love Letter” is one of the most passionately crafted records to be released in recent years.
Preme Writez is a singer, songwriter and performer based in Los Angeles, CA. His live shows have been turning heads since he gained prominence on the area's historic Sunset Strip in June of 2013. His singing voice, which bears similarities to both Michael Jackson and Prince, is the most immediately striking feature of Preme Writez's new record, but it is the artist's obvious dedication to the fine art of music which causes these songs to ring true.
“I write music illustrating what I witness on a daily basis, regardless of race or background,” writes the singer.
The lyrical themes of his “Love Letter” EP are often romantic in nature, but can also evoke feelings of compassion.
“I am simply touched by how people manage to solve life puzzles and as a songwriter,” his official bio reads. “I try to translate their stories or messages musically.”
The quality of “Love Letter” shows Preme Writez's attention to every minute, sonic detail. His performances are flawless without feeling strained, the record's studio production a work of art in itself. The creativity, delivery and effect of each song show consistently exceptional musical taste.
“Due to the emergence of the digital age,” Writez says, “I feel that there is a disconnect to how music makes you feel. Forget all the debates of digital vs. analog. I am distinguishing that feeling you had when you first heard the the Beatles or Earth Wind & Fire. That pounding of your heart when you first went to a Madonna or Prince concert? The electricity running through your veins when you first heard a verse by Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Nas or Hov? How about when you first saw a Michael Jackson video?”
It is this feeling that Preme Writez and Flyboy Rockstar MGI have aimed to sculpt in his “Love Letter” EP.
“I would feel honored … to re-establish that connection,” writes the performer. “ I feel when you are able to connect to someone, it transcends any barriers, paving the way towards a harmonious union. That is why [Music] means everything to me. She has my heart.”
“Love Letter” by Preme Writez is available online worldwide.
