The singer and songwriter of hip hop
known internationally as Tam Tam has released her latest single, “If
Ya Luv,” feat. B.I.Z. The much-awaited single track has been
published on the Thowed Off Ent. independent music label outside the
influence of the corporate music industry. Raw and real, and pared
straight down to drum, bass, and the lyric talents of Tam Tam and
B.I.Z, “If Ya Luv” is one of the most party-prone dance and
hip-hop tracks to meet the public ear in 2015 so far.
Tam Tam (also sometimes known as Hot
Tamala) cites as main artistic influences musicians like L. Boogie,
Nas, Tupac Shakur, Jay Z, Eightball & MJG, and the Notorious
B.I.G. While her own sound contains similarities with the best
attributes of these hip-hop titans, it stands alone as unique and
significant in a way that fans of both hip-hop and dance music are
sure to love. Listeners who enjoy music by TLC, Da Brat, Salt-N-Pepa,
MC Lyte and Queen Latifah are especially likely to groove to Tam
Tam's new “If Ya Luv,” featuring B.I.Z.
Asked to describe the general theme of
her new “If Ya Luv” single, Tam Tam replies simply, “Hope,
inspiration and having fun.”
Hailing from the hotbed of music that
is Alabama, Tam Tam is a veteran of the music world, having hosted
and released a number of official mixtapes. She has collaborated with
artists such as Keith Murray and Jaz-O, performed as an opening act
on major tours for Ludacris, and has been featured on the legendary
SoulTrain.com. She began 2015 by opening for the giants of soul known
as Frankie Beverly & Maze. In addition to all of the above, Tam
Tam has worked with a bevy of musicians including Dirty Boyz, Gucci
Mane, Black Magic, Young Sneed, 6 Tre G, and Sir Charles Jones.
Also coming from Alabama is the
featured artist on “If Ya Luv,” rapper and urban poet, B.I.Z.
B.I.Z has been called an excellent example of the dirty-south sound
and has grown in popularity over the last few years with releases
like “Mile High,” as well as with a number of high-profile
features on records like Gucci Mane's “Murder Was the Case” LP
album.
In addition to the considerable talents
of Tam Tam and B.I.Z, “If Ya Luv” has also been produced by
world-famous DJ Dennis Blaze of 95.7 KISS FM San Diego and 93.5 KDAY
FM Redondo Beach fame. Blaze also acts as the record-pool music
director for the thriving music website, ClubKikkers.com.
“If Ya Luv” by Tam Tam and feat.
B.I.Z is already available online worldwide. Fans of hip-hop and
dance music should get in early.
