CharPa Productions releases seasonal LP 'Celebrating the Holidays with the Lion King'

The entertainment company known as CharPa Productions has released their seasonal LP record album, “Celebrating the Holidays with the Lion King.” The global publication of the music album is a charity event, with proceeds benefiting organizations which combat the AIDS epidemic around the world. “Celebrating the Holidays with the Lion King” is the newest CD version of the long-running Broadway smash hit, “Disney's The Lion King.” The show is being performed live in Los Angeles, CA on the day of the album's release.

BroadwayWorld.com writes, “The evening will also mark the official release of a new cast-produced CD, 'Celebrating the Holidays with The Lion King,' featuring original arrangements and songs from companies of The Lion King from across the world celebrating the spirit of the holiday season. All artists donated their time and talents so that all proceeds will benefit AIDS charities worldwide. The CD will be available as a digital download at iTunes, Amazon.com and for hard copy CD purchase at the concert on December 2.”

CharPa Productions, who have published the album, have a straightforward mission statement on their official Facebook page: “To be a support for those who wish to create.”

Speaking of the release of “Celebrating the Holidays with The Lion King,” CharPa Productions writes, “In 2003 Frank Wright was asked to do an international Christmas CD, 'A Lion King Christmas,' with the company members of the Lion King from around the world to benefit international AIDS organizations. Thousands of dollars were raised in the sale of the initial CD. With the addition of new Lion King companies, Frank was asked again to record a new CD. The 2013 version, Celebrating the Holidays with the Lion King, will be available on Dec 2 2013. Look for it on iTunes and any digital media store worldwide.”

Wright, who has instituted the new record, offers his thanks to, “all the international companies and Disney Theatrical for everything.”
