Da'Ryian releases single 'Fun'

The pop singer from New Orleans, LA known as Da'Ryian has released the first single from her upcoming CD, titled, “Fun.” The single is the most significant official release from Da'Ryian to date, and stands as her global introduction of herself to the music listening world. A pop song with all the verve and energy of youth, “Fun” stands as proof that Da'Ryian can share the stage with the best of them, and show a couple of new tricks, herself.

“I been singing since I was a baby,” she writes. “My first recording was a cover of a Beyonce song.”

The singer cites as main musical influences such artists as Beyonce, TLC, and Katy Perry. Intuitively, her music falls not far from these trees, and in fact would sit very well between any of them. Extremely danceable and radio friendly, “Fun” is a track that easily boosts activity on the dance floor either at home or at nightclubs.

Asked to expound on the meaning of “Fun,” Da'Ryian's response is appropriately plain. “Kids just want to have fun,” she replies.

Da'Ryian's music is described in her bio as a combination of pop, hip hop, and R 'n' B music. The youngest of three siblings, Da'Ryian was only nine at the time her official artist's bio was written. She is the granddaughter of a popular jazz musician of the New Orleans area. She has performed at the Essence Festival and at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, the latter of which she performed with her grandfather's band. She was a state finalist in the National American Miss Pageant for 2011.
