Donata releases new EP 'Revolution'

The singer, songwriter and performer of pop music known as Donata has released her latest EP record, titled, “Revolution.” The EP is comprised of four original new tracks for an approximate total listening time of 14 minutes. It has been released on the 003 Records music label. A heavy-hitting and high-energy pop record with excellent composition, ingenious songwriting and spectacular performances by everyone involved, “Revolution” is poised to prove that Donata is ready to take center stage in every part of the world.

Donata cites as main artistic influences such legendary pop stars as Madonna, Muse, Daft Punk, and Infected Mushroom. Her music, intuitively, is vivifying and classy, radical and unpredictable. The sound is rooted in alternative rock with digitized effects. Her vocal style is direct, beautiful, and with all of the feminine aggression that made Madonna the performer to watch in the '80s and '90s.

Speaking of the themes of her new album, Donata writes that her album speaks in uplifting, supportive, courageous and compassionate words to her listeners: “Never lose hope. You can change your life. Be strong and help people.”

Donata, who was born in 1986 in Hungary to a middle-class Lithuanian family, got her first taste of real fame when she entered a nationally televised talent show for unknown Lithuanian artists. She made the finals. In 2008, she released her debut pop record, which was written and recorded in the Lithuanian language. Living now in Turkey, she has been working with the famous Turkish music producer Erkan Tatoglu to polish up “Revolution,” her debut to the English-speaking world.

The release has been celebrated with a string of stage appearances, at which gigs Donata has performed with a live rock band. The release will also usher in an official music video to be released soon. The video will showcase one of the prominent singles from her “Revolution” EP.

“Revolution” by Donata is available online worldwide beginning 18 December 2013.
