Ron Aven releases new single 'Hypothermia' feat. Cassidy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –

The pop and R 'n' B artist known as Ron Aven has released his latest single, titled, “Hypothermia.” The single has been released on the Gud-Edit Records music label. It is the most significant official release from Aven since his seasonal release in November, “My Christmas Wishes,” also from the Gud-Edit Records repertoire. In addition to the majestic and powerful tones of Aven, himself, “Hypothermia” also features the considerable talents of multi-platinum-selling pop rap star, Cassidy. “Hypothermia” is the first official single to be released from Aven's anxiously awaited debut EP record, due out in the near future.

Ron Aven is 21 years old and lives in Quebec, Canada. Born and raised until the age of eight on the Caribbean island of Grenada in the Lesser Antilles, Aven's family consisted of three singers as well as himself. He considers singing competitions with his mother, a church singer, and his brothers to be the earliest formative influence on his having become a musician today.

Upon being asked to cite musical artistic influences, he speaks in broad, general terms, saying only, “Rock, pop, R 'n' B and hip hop – good music in general.”

Aven's own music has always been based predominantly on wordplay and poetic lyricism. His clear, masculinely sonorous voice lends itself well to pop and soul music. His move to R 'n' B was intuitive. Early in his career, he often found himself without professional partners or funding, and was known to produce his music on his smart phone or iPad. Since 2012 Ron Aven has been signed to Gud-Edit Records (also sometimes stylized, Gudedit).

Speaking of the themes of his new single, “Hypothermia,” Aven writes that, “This song is for anyone who loved and gave it all to the wrong person.”

“Hypothermia” by Ron Aven and featuring Cassidy is available online worldwide.
