Luna Ciega releases new single 'Mi Corazon Late'

The singer and songwriter of passionate rock music known as Luna Ciega has released his debut rock single, titled, “Mi Corazon Late.” It is a song of reasonable length at approximately two-and-a-half minutes, and has been released on the new LunaCiega music record label. An intimate and personal song written, performed and released by LunaCiega to explain the intricacies of romantic emotion from his perspective, “Mi Corazon Late” is one of the most genuine and true songs to be published this year, written and performed by one of the most genuine and true-hearted singer-songwriters to be introduced this winter.

“I grew up listening to Spanish music, writing down song ideas,” Luna Ciega writes of his humble beginnings in the music writing and performing world. In addition to his ability to write and sing song lyrics, Luna Ciega is also capable of writing and playing chords and chord progressions for guitar. Having written several songs and having perfected his guitar-playing at them, he selected “Mi Corazon Late” as the one he wished to release to the world at large.

Speaking of the themes described and explored in “Mi Corazon Late,” Luna Ciega writes, “My single is meant to express the feeling of when we see that person we love. Our hearts speed up, as the other person brings beauty into our lives.”

Luna Ciega cites as main artistic influences such artists as Reik, Sin Banderas, Ricardo Arjona, Prince Royce, and Aventura. Naturally, his own music reflects his taste for such writers, and exhibits elements of each.

Luna Ciega was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx, NYC. He grew up writing poetry, fascinated by the idea of love.

“I support love and peace, and want to help spread them,” writes the artist, himself. “I wrote, recorded, and composed my songs in my room. I use my train rides to school to write songs. I am a college student and am employed. I want to have a positive impact on the world. Art brings me a sense of peace that I want to spread with others. I like to have fun with everything I do.”
