Shelia Moore releases new LP record 'Tha Story Told Twice According To Shee Shee Vol.1'

The artist of rhythm 'n' blues gospel music known as Shelia Moore has released her newest LP record, titled, “Tha Story Told Twice According To Shee Shee Vol.1,” to rave critical and fan reviews. The album has been published by the Bdm / Ugroove Music record label. It is comprised of 17 new and original tracks for more than an hour's worth of excellent listening. In addition to Shelia Moore's own gorgeous, sparkling vocals, “Tha Story Told Twice...” also features the towering talents of Liz Vaughn, Shei Atkins, Allegro Adams, and the Knuckle Headz. Moore's music is spiritually inspired, and every song on this, her most spectacular work to date, has its heart and soul in unwavering faith and praise of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Moore deals with these themes directly and with endless finesse. Her voice is soft, feminine, and guided by her impeccable ear and good taste. Her range is exceeded only by her precision. She is never guilty of being showy, or of oversouling. “Tha Story Told Twice...” stretches over a variety of styles, often utilizing jazz and soul undertones, sometimes dealing in groovy offerings of funk with light smatterings of Motown and disco, and occasionally visiting the hip-hop genre. All in all, the record is exceptional listening, incredibly well orchestrated and produced, and represents a fantastic introduction for the public to this astounding, inspirational singer.

Concerning the topics of her music, Moore herself writes, “Music is a ministry, and it is my ministry.”

Moore's faith cannot be overstated. Her songs have titles such as “Give Praise,” “God Is Love,” and “Call Him,” classic names that could easily appear in any Southern Baptist hymnal. She deals with mature, contemporary and complicated Christian issues in these tracks, however, such as premarital sex, and unwavering faith in the face of seemingly untenable adversity.

She writes her music in collaboration with husband and fellow musician, Glenn “GP” Piper, whose own, ingenious tonal craftsmanship is braided throughout the record.
