The Australian crew of pop rock
performers known as Grand Cru have released their latest and most
popular track to date, titled, “Shadows.” The track has been
released internationally and is climbing charts on the World Wide Web
such as Triple J's Unearthed.com, where they had garnered the seventh
spot with much upward momentum as of mid-September. The track is
being concurrently released with its official music video, available
soon. A subtle song with powerful undercurrents and unique overtones
native to the Grand Cru sound alone, “Shadows” is certain to add
yet another chapter to the five-piece ensemble from Melbourne's
passionate cult following.
This Grand Cru sound resists efforts to
categorize it for the sake of an easy description. It has the patient
masculinity of 1990s alternative rock, the catchy grooviness of pop
music, and elements even of traditional Irish music. They cite as
main artistic influences bands such as Stereophonics, Pearl Jam, Iron

The themes explored in “Shadows,”

introspective in nature yet the anthem discusses something to which
