UnderTrees release new EP 'Heart of Nature'

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –

The eclectic European indie band known as UnderTrees have released their newest EP record, titled, “Heart of Nature.” The album is comprised of popular introductory UnderTrees tracks that serve as the first glimpse of music from UnderTrees. “Heart of Nature” introduces these artists to the world and showcases them as a heartfelt and gentle band with tons of soul and early indie sensibilities. With elements of bands such as the Velvet Underground and Neutral Milk Hotel, UnderTrees seem certain to turn hearts and heads from the Mississippi to the Tigris and Euphrates.

The band gets their name from the old phrase, "Under trees, endless discussions" which is the English name of the Palaver tree, which was the gathering place where folks would share, discuss, and tell stories. UnderTrees consider their sound to lie somewhere between pop ballads, folk music and soul music.

UnderTrees were formed with the stated intent and aspiration of forming a crossroads of cultures between France, Slovakia and the Ivory Coast. The group is a real medium which rallies, meets people, and translates from nation to nation with humanitarian scope and ease of manner.

They cite as main artistic influences bands such as Good Fancy, Jeno Brothers, Asaf Avidan, Ray Charles, Alice Russel, Adele, Charlie Winston, Alex Clare, Johannes Kauffman, Labrinth, Ceelo Green, Mika, Coldplay, and Muse.
