FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –
The Latin crew known as TrovaRumba has
released their new single, titled, “Mi Senora del Pilar.” The
single is the most significant release from TrovaRumba to date and
represents the introduction of this exciting new sound to the
music-listening world at large. It is the first single from their new
LP record album, tentatively due out in the first quarter of 2014. it
has been concurrently released with an official music video, also
available online.
“Mi Senora del Pilar” means “My
Lady of the Support/Pillar,” but also denotes the 12th
of October, the Day of the Virgin of El
Pilar, and also the day on which the “discovery”
of America is celebrated (a counterpart to the celebration of
Columbus Day in the United States). The 12th of October
has also been called at different times el Día de la Raza, or the
Day of the Race, and is still largely called this in areas such as
Los Angeles, CA.
TrovaRumba is comprised of
composer, musician, arranger and producer Marco Antonio Delgado, the
second eldest of seven brothers (all
musicians) and lead
singer David Delgado, the youngest of said
brothers. TrovaRumba
has said that their talents were inherited from the patriarch and
matriarch of the family, Antonio Delgado and
Patricia Alvarez.
Marco
Delgado learned to play the accordion
at 7 years old, taught by his father. He
has since garnered a great many instruments, including piano,
guitar, bass, percussion, and more. At 14
he began to win songwriting competitions, such as the
Song Festival Tibás Canton, where he won first place in the original
song category . In his early twenties, besides studying Industrial
Engineering at the Autonomous University of Central America, he
was part of highly recognized groups in Costa
Rica like Elite, where he was
music director, keyboardist, singer and chorus. He
was later known as part of international
groups Checkmate and the Bandoleros
Band, who visited
countries in Central
and North America, as well as some in Europe.
In 1996 he moved to live in the United States in search of new musical horizons and is dedicated to producing in his studio new artists who want to present their demos to labels in Miami.

National Symphony Orchestra in the opera, “Tosca.” He
was also part of classical salsa groups, Leo
D' Urban and Orchestra,
in which the pianist was equally important
