Kaela Freeman releases new single 'Are You Ready'

The multitalented performer of song and stage known as Kaela Freeman has released her latest single, titled, “Are You Ready.” The song has been released on the Sickman Records music label and features in addition to Freeman's own talents, those of friend and fellow hip-hop writer/performer, Lil' Chuckee.

The Los-Angeles based Kaela Freeman is a native Californian, and true to her So. Cal. culture she has been an actress since the age of seven. She has appeared in various TV shows such as the new teen dramatic comedy, “Diamond Life,” as well as in feature films such as “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” Steadily employed by Hollywood for various dramatic needs, she has appeared in over 22 commercials aired nationally for brands such as Geico, Domino's Pizza, Kmart, McDonald's, Levi's, and AT&T.

As a performer of the dramatic arts, the teen actress and singer has studied with Hollywood’s top acting coaches; however, her inspiration for music came from her brother, Tyler Freeman. Tyler Freeman wrote and recorded sister Kaela's first song in their home recording studio when she was only 11 years old.

Freeman's debut music single, “What Yo Name Is” was concurrently released with an official music video in 2011. The track gathered momentum at first in Southern California, but soon went on to national and then international radio play.

Freeman's official bio describes her character in the following: “As a high school student and humanitarian, Kaela lives a full life outside of Hollywood. She genuinely loves being around people and uses her outgoing personality to raise awareness and address issues of concern to children.”

“Are You Ready” by Kaela Freeman is available online worldwide.
