EQ Why releases new EP 'Enter The Why Vol. 1 – You Got It'

The DJ known as EQ Why has released his newest EP record, “Enter The Why Vol. 1 – You Got It,” to widespread critical and fan acclaim. The album is comprised of six original tracks for an approximate total listening time of half an hour. It has been released on the Duck 'n' Cover Records music label. An old-school return to the days of the 808 and 909 electronic beatboxes, “Enter The Why Vol. 1 – You Got It” is a freewheeling, endlessly fun trip through mixology in a way the common music listener has never heard before.

Citing as main artistic influences the likes of legends on wax such as DJ Rashad, DJ Spinn, RP Boo, Traxman, and Jlin, the DJ from Chicago called EQ Why started his music career in the summer of 2001 when he was introduced to a program called Fruity Loops, which allowed him to create and produce his own original tracks. Though many creative souls have thrown their hat into the musical ring through the same channels, EQ Why's distinctive ear helps him select choice sounds for his tracks that most musicians would look over, and his knack for keeping songs spacious and clutter-free bespeaks a taste that must be innate and cannot be learned.
