Lucky and the Shelter Cats release 'House Cat' feat. Joyce Tha Voice

The furry, lovable music group known as Lucky & the Shelter Cats have released their new single, “House Cat” with featured singer, Joyce Tha Voice. The single has been released on the Femme Mafia Music record label. “House Cat” is the first single from the forthcoming LP album, “Jams for Animals, Vol. One.” A slamming, thumping house music track, the single (and the LP) are part of a non-profit charity seeking to raise aid for animals in need through music sales, increased public awareness, and the promotion of kindness to animals in general. Jams For Animals builds shelters, provides funding and promotes kindness to animals through music and video. The charity seeks to fund smaller animal charities and build shelters with the proceeds of its music sales.

Providing lead vocals on this, his debut release is creative feline Million “Lucky” Goldman, backed by singer-songwriter Joyce Tha Voice. The track has been mixed by famous multiple Grammy-winning engineer, Alvin Speights.

Joyce Tha Voice is the stage name of Joyce Irby, longtime former lead singer of the popular female dance music crew, Klymaxx. Her recent accolades include co-writing credits on “Another Round” by Fat Joe / Chris Brown and Mary J Blige. She won an ASCAP songwriter award for its having been one of the most played of the year. An avid animal lover, Irby started the “Jams For Animals” charity to help animals in need. Her Femme Mafia Music label was created largely to support these efforts, as well as a department for creating music video and other visuals. The official “House Cat” video is slated to become one of the most watched viral videos of the year.

Irby cites as main artistic influences Ed Sheeran, George Clinton, Michael Jackson, Dave Barnes, Rascal Flats, and Celine Dion.
