Experience the Meu releases new LP 'Come Experience The Meu'

The composer of digital music known as Experience the Meu has released his capital new flagship LP record album, titled, “Come Experience The Meu,” to widespread critical and fan acclaim. The album is comprised of 10 all new, original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 50 minutes. This makes “Come Experience the Meu” a roundly comprehensive introduction to this eclectic, hyper-creative music genius, and one that no fan of electronic dance music should miss.

Experience the Meu cites as main artistic influences legends such as Stevie Wonder, Barry White, David Morales, David Bowie, and Carlos Santana. This impressive and diverse collection of favorites clearly shows Meu to be an artist of great taste, but what is even more impressive is how Meu is able to sculpt this musical amalgam into a consistently tasteful sound all his own. Indeed, many eras and styles of music are here represented, including (but not at all limited to) certain elements of house music, R 'n' B, trance, jungle, ritmo Latino, hip hop, and even a dose of classic heavy metal. If this sounds like too much of a hodge podge to make sense, be assuaged that the Meu is capable of making this myriad sound vividly colorful, resulting in a cohesive and beautiful record.

Speaking of his impetus for writing the album, Meu says only, “I wanted to share my joy and love of making good music, spreading positive vibes to your ears.”

Having performed as a DJ at various NYC, Brooklyn and Virginia clubs from 1980-2000, Experience the Meu graduated SAE in New York City with a certificate in electronic music production in 2008, and began producing his own music. He has performed in his DJ role for various non-profit events at locations such as BB Kings in New York City and others. He was an original founding member of Soul Brothers Music in 1977, and has played events such as Brooklyn's famous Labor Day Parade.
