Bobby Swagg releases new single and music video, 'Cold'

The rapper known as Bobby Swagg has released his new single, “Cold,” to widespread critical and fan acclaim. It has been concurrently released with a corresponding official music video. The single as well as the video has been released on the Ground Up Entertainment music record label. The official Ground Up Ent. video was shot by Langston, and edited by Matty Makeitwork of InternationalAwol.com. It is available for viewing around the world online today.

Bobby Swagg cites as main artistic influences artists such as Eminem, Ludacris, Jay-Z, and Tupac Shakur. Elements of each of these legendary performers are evident in the style and flow of Swagg's own work, which is characteristically quick, clever, and delivered with a casual ease that is part of his trademark personality. Swagg's music is thematically diverse and never trite, his topics ranging from social conscientiousness to tales drawn from his personal life, unadulterated and as non-fiction as journalism.

“For him,” his official bio reads, “[rapping has always] represented a release from feelings he bottled deep inside, feelings that he knew yearned to be free.”

Swagg has been making music since the age of eight. His creative compass has always gravitated toward and been founded upon lyric poetry, as opposed to catchy beats alone. His artistic integrity is intact and formidable. His debut mixtape release came late in 2012, this present offering being his most significant and powerful production to date, most definitely not to be his last.

Like his fellow musicians on the Ground Up Ent. label, music fans the world over can expect nothing but top notch production, performance, and execution from Bobby Swagg, “Cold” being a fine example of this in both sound and vision.

“Cold” by Bobby Swagg is available online worldwide. Be sure not to miss the official music video of the same name, both under Ground Up Ent.
