Rapper Federo releases new LP 'Gutta Man'

The rapper, singer and MC from Oakland, CA known as Federo has released his new flagship LP record album, titled, “Gutta Man.” The album has been released on the Paystyle Music Group record label. Federo's “Gutta Man” LP is comprised of 11 original tracks for an approximate total playing time of 42 minutes. It is Federo's most significant official music release to date, and stands to solidify him as one of Central California's most important and influential artists recording today.

Federo cites as his own main artistic influences Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, Big L, and E-40 from the rap and hip hop backgrounds, but also Stevie wonder, Aaron Hall, Jodeci, Tank, H-Town, and Silk from the genre of soul music. His own music reflects this musical heritage clearly and creatively in a new fashion that is all his own.

Speaking of the themes encompassed in “Gutta Man,” Federo's rep writes:

“'Gutta Man' represents where Federo first started in the projects. He was self-made from the gutter, and with that he has a story to tell and represent. He is not your typical rap artist from Oakland, CA.”

Federo has also occasionally performed as “Feddy.” Born in Los Angeles to a father from Compton, he has spent most of his life in the Oakland area. His official bio describes him as “a hardcore rapper with a street view from experiences from inner-city life in the projects.”
