FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –
The Canadian rapper known as the
Marsonist has released his latest LP record album, “Hell On Earth.”
The album is comprised of 12 original tracks for an approximate total
listening time of 50 minutes. It is
the Marsonist's most significant and
powerful publication since his hit single release in spring, “Get
Em,” which also appears on “Hell On Earth” and features Young
Noble. Also featured on the Marsonist's latest record are the talents
of Chucc Brown, RubyRax, Oli, Despa, and Choclair. A comprehensive
and heavy-hitting treatment of Marsonist tracks, “Hell On Earth”
(H.O.E.) is one of the season's most anticipated and aggressive rap
records by far.
The Marsonist cites as main artistic
influences, “different genres like hip hop, R 'n' B, reggae, and
Rock, to drum and bass, dubstep, and other EDM-type music,” but he
also notes that his own art isn't derived from some outer source.
“Most of my artistic influences derive from my own life
experiences, observations, and opinions I have,” he writes.
The writing of “Hell On Earth” is
exceptional. His lines and rhymes curl and turn, punch and wheel,
spin and fly. The performances of all artists appearing on the album
are staggering, yet the writing of the lyrics still wins out over
all. This is at least partially because the Marsonist has so very
much to say.
“The message that I am trying to
deliver with 'Hell On Earth,'” he writes, “is that life is not
easy, and that sometimes you are forced to go through hell in order
to reach your goals and live your dreams. My goal is to express my
own thoughts and experiences through my music, in order to inspire
and reach people from all over the world who can relate to the
message that I portray in my songs.”
These songs range in topic from the
party anthem (“We Run the Party”) to the combative (“Get Em”)
but each track is a work of art in its own right, complete with deep
cuts and bumping beats that groove straight to the bone.
“Hell On Earth” by the Marsonist is
available online worldwide.
