US West Coast rap mogul G-shooz has
released his latest LP record, titled, “Gumshooz of the Streetz.”
The enormous album is comprised of 19 original tracks for an
approximate total of one-and-a-quarter hours' worth of high-quality
hip-hop music. It has been released on G-shooz's own popular (and
quickly growing) music label, Siclogic Records. In addition to
G-shooz's own considerable talents, the record boasts a dizzying
array of featured Siclogic Records artists and friends, including but
not limited to Tiara Mora, Qraun, Black Rose, Daina Gomez, Dj
Guillotine, Cash Phlow, Raise the Bridges, MC H, Og Stylee, Ingraved
O.U.T., Dj Karnage, Diction One, Every MC and Trax).
When asked to comment on the various
themes explored on “Gumshooz of the Streetz,” G-shooz speaks very
directly.
“The messages in my album are pretty
deep,” he writes. “Some are very easy to interpret while others
are more subliminal. Some of the messages include believing in
yourself, doing what you know is right, and 'don't let anyone tell
you you can't.' Being open-minded allows you to learn things you
might otherwise shut out. We have to keep our eyes open and look out
for others in general.”
He cites as main artistic influences
five interrelated and omnipotent sources of inspiration:
“God, the world, universe, mind and
soul.”
His musical journey began as a child,
“Listening to music, primarily hard rock in the car from place to
place,” as he tells it. “I fell in love with the power of music,
enjoyed signing along with the songs, and said, 'one day I will
effect people in this way as well.'”
This mission 'Shooz has already
accomplished. G-shooz has opened for many of the biggest legends in
Hip Hop, and has executive produced works featuring artists such as
50 Cent, Snoop Dogg [Lion] Method Man, Young Buck, Kurupt and Daz
Dillinger, KRS One, E-40, Too Short, Roger Troutman of Zapp, Tech

popular TV and radio stations. His successful compilation series,
“Soul Logic Presents: The Movement” has seen likewise growing
popularity, as has his group's debut album, “Circle Henge:
